I was using this probiotic last year and I noticed other reviews mentioning Bio Kult working better for them. I decided to try it and noticed a negative difference quite quickly. I finished the box, but was taking 8 capsules a day to get the same effect as Toniiq’s probiotic. When I started Toniiq again, the difference was immediate. Two capsules a day, easy and potent. I am very happy with the results.

It's probably too early to say if it's having much effect internally. But the milk test was effective. I sprinkled a capsule into milk, left it at room temperature for 24 hrs, and found an impressively set yogurt! All from an unrefrigerated capsule, so clearly it's potent when despatched and remains so stored in a cool, dark cupboard for 2 weeks. Hopefully longer. Like the packaging and thoughtful insert to prevent whatever it's supposed to safeguard against. My only issue and the reason for a dropped star is the inadequate labelling. How much of each strain and is this 90% acidophilus? Why obfuscate... P. S. Yes, acidophilus main strain, contents listed in descending order of quantity. Seller says 'proprietory blend' and keeping the exact amounts secret so formulation can't be copied. Most buyers would like to know, I imagine. I certainly would.

I bought these because I suffer from IBS, and probiotics help ease my troubled inners. I normally have Bio-Kult, but then read that Bio-Kult doesn't contain enough of the little microbes that help keep the inside clean and calm. Probiotic 200 contains 200 billion of the little beggars - a fantastic figure. The makers claim it is the highest CFU count (CFU stands for Colony Forming Unit - the viable or active microbe cells), and quite possibly is. Do we need that much? I don't know. But I found the capsules quite large and difficult to swallow, and the smell and taste not pleasant. Added to which, I found that - at first (it did get better) - it made my insides worse. After a period of adjustment I found I could take it without too much negative experience, but I have moved back to my regular Bio-Kult, as that works well enough for me. I keep the box as a standby for times when I may run out of Bio-Kult, and I find that if I take just one instead of the recommended two, and just for a day or two until until I can restock with Bio-Kult, then it works fine.

I have tried various brands of probiotics and I really like this one. Each capsule is 100 billion CFU so you need to take 2 to get the advertised dose. There are 69 pills in a tub so you get 30 days supply. These seem to be working and this is my third tub.

I bought these as I had to have antibiotics and wanted to boost my friendly gut bacteria. So, I’ve noticed after taking these for a few days and the following month that I haven’t had heartburn after eating foods that I usually get it from and not needing antacids. Not something I really expected from a probiotic but a nice effect. Together with other positive health benefits I’ve noticed I think these do contain the varied and high counts of probiotics stated. Recommended.

I take kefir all the time and it has 200 billion bacteria with 30 plus strains. I have a dairy allergy now, so ordered these. When I take kefir I always get stomach noises, which shows it is working and feel generally great. With this for a month - nothing at all. Didn't feel improvement, no stomach noises. Nothing.

We have been taking these for many months, and both my wife and I found them to be really very good. Easy to swallow and very effective.
