Best for Steaming Eggs in the Shell
I love this egg cooker for “hardboiled,” (steamed, I guess) eggs. If I use the recommended amount of water, turn the cooker off as soon as it beeps, and cool the eggs of in cold water immediately, they are perfect every time, and they’re super easy to peel. I didn’t have much luck with the mini-omelet or just cooking the eggs out of the shell. For the price and the convenience of steaming the eggs in the shell, I am very happy with this. If you spray any oil for an omelet-type thing (reviewer-recommended), cleanup is a bit messy, but for cooking them in the shells, it is super quick and easy.

Very good unit for the price!
Most of the egg cookers that I tried pretty much operated on the same concept. All of them are pretty cheap, but as you pay a few extra dollars, you do tend to get a few more features. For example, most of them hold 6-7 eggs, and have a plastic dome with one or two holes in the top (to let steam evaporate). This is where this one sets itself somewhat apart from the others. The dome on this one actually has a handle. That might not sound like a big deal, but trust me, you will appreciate it once you try to remove the lid from the others, and the steam hits your fingers! This one allows you to avoid that pain. It has a timer that goes off once the water evaporates. The timer is hit or miss because if you want harder eggs or more robust omelettes, you will need to add more water. Clean up is a breeze. All you need to do is just clean the omelette or poaching tray, and wipe the heating element, and you're done. All of the parts are dishwasher safe except for the heating element. It cooks fast with the steam being the main source of heat, but as I mentioned earlier, if you are making omelettes with more ingredients and meat, you will definitely need to allow a little more cooking time. Scrambled eggs are also a breeze, and are very fluffy. I add a little milk to mine to give them a better texture. Also, it is great for steaming veggies such as broccoli and asparagus. Make sure to add a little bit of butter to the steamed veggies while they cook, and it will melt perfectly! Walmart carries an egg cooker that is similar, but I think this one is better, because it has the handle on the lid and it comes with some great egg recipes. My next step is to make an egg-mcmuffin with it. Definitely a purchase worth the money.

Easy Easy Easy
Update-Almost subtracted one star. After a few weeks of use, the measuring marks on the little cup have almost totally worn off. i remarked with a sharpie, but even those are wearing off. I have just remarked with my sharpie, but this time I have added clear packaging tape to see if that helps protect the marks. I have also checked the measurements by pouring into my measuring spoons so I will know what to use if I totally lose the marks on the little cup. Hard boiled = 5T + 1t. Poached = 4T. Soft boiled = 2T + 2t. Don't use it to cook scrambled eggs so I didn't measure that. Still love the thing! Note: because I am using more eggs, they are fresher when hard boiled than the first batch I fixed, and the fresher eggs are much easier to peel. --------- Original review Easy to use. Easy to clean. Makes perfect poached eggs. I no longer overcook my hard boiled eggs. I use grade "large" eggs. For hard boiled, I use just a bit more water (about an extra 1/8 inch). They are not as easy to peel as some people say, but they aren't hard to peel either. Got this because I was buying pre-cooked & peeled hard boiled eggs. They, like everything else, have gotten more expensive. With this little gadget I can cook them whenever I want, it's fast and easy, and I don't have to go to the store. I just keep a good supply of raw eggs on hand and we get our protein for much less cost. We have definitely been eating more eggs. I love poached eggs, but they were always too much trouble to fix. This makes poached eggs a snap-I've been having them every morning now! There is an omelet attachment, but it's pretty tiny. I usually use 4-6 eggs for an omelet, plus meat, veggies & cheese. I think it would only be good for 2 or maybe three scrambled eggs, or, like I said, a tiny omelet. Don't know how long this will last, but I WILL be getting a replacement when it dies! Highly recommend.

Awesome Egg Cooker
I purchased this item to replace a Cuisinart egg cooker that I had for 21 years. I was a bit nervous because I really wanted another Cuisinart, but their unit was too large. My item arrived promptly, and was well-packaged. I reviewed the enclosed user manual, which I found to be well-written. The measuring cup/egg piercer was easy to read, and use. I like the large cap that covers the pin, which makes it difficult to accidentally lose. I ran the cooker with 6 eggs on the Hard Boil cycle. I liked that the lid is see-through, so I could keep an eye on the eggs. The cycle didn't take long and the alarm was loud enough to be easily heard. The unit automatically shut off, but the alarm kept sounding until I physically turned the cooker off. The lid, the egg rack and the other accessories have handles strategically placed to avoid receiving any nasty burns. I found peeling the eggs very easy, and cleanup of the cooker was a breeze. A couple of the eggs did leak a little out of the pin holes. I intend to follow the manual's suggestion of turning them over and piercing the larger end for the next cooking. I'm extremely impressed with this egg cooker and I highly recommend it. I hope my detailed review helps others with their decision.

Al finalizar el agua se apaga y emite una alarma de buen sonido y la cual no se detiene hasta que acudes y desactivas el botón, nos gustó mucho

Saw many reviews for this rapid egg cooker and thought I would give it a shot since I like boiled eggs. This device works fantastic. It only requires a small amount of water and boils eggs to perfection (you can adjust how hard the egg is boiled based on the water you put in it - you measure it with the included plastic measuring cup). In addition the included measuring cup has a pin on the bottom to pierce a hole in the eggs. When the eggs are cooked it beeps non-stop to let you know to turn the device off and take your eggs out. Cleaning is minimal. Excellent device!

Initially, I found the Elite Gourmet Rapid Egg Cooker a bit tricky to use. The water measurements for different egg doneness levels required some trial and error. However, after a few attempts, I got the hang of it. Now, it consistently delivers perfectly cooked eggs, and cleanup is a breeze. The included recipe booklet is a helpful bonus. Overall, a great addition to my kitchen once I overcame the initial learning curve

Es pequeña más de lo que esperaba lo cual es mejor aún, ya qué no quita mucho espacio. Solo eh probado hacer huevos duros 10/10 por el momento
