Make sure to use it correctly! I have had this a month and it works great - at first I was getting sick of it because I would have to unclog it or adjust it all the time. Make sure to use the extender piece for the water and I have realized I only want to use the short cap pieces and not the wider pieces. Since switching to only using the smaller end cap spouts and adding the extender I haven’t had to touch it. I also bought some screen sheets (like for pipes) and created my own small cage around the pump to make sure it didn’t get clogged. Bought a second one and will probably have these through my property

Good product. Had to do some exterior work to get the angle for the proper sunshine but that was caused by my backyard. As soon as the sun hits it, it starts to pump. Now if the birds would stop being such slobs...

Lots of issues. Firstly, the solar panel doesn't have a peg to place in ground. It's just a piece of plastic. Not very good. Panel sits atop a hedge on full sunlight and the water trikles out.Second up is the design, it's really small. Which is fine, that's the whole point of a fountain is to move water. It doesn't do a good job of this. First day worked, second day it's down to nothing but a thin trickle. I doubt this lasts a week.The pros: good length of cableThe cons: solar panel small, without a way to support it.Solar panel is weak, in fun sun can't manage to produce much water spray.Pump motor seems to work (makes noise) but the water spray only lasted one day.It's a waste of time and money. Save your money for something else, this isn't it.

I purchased this to add to my DIY fountain, but it only works while the sun it's on it; otherwise, as soon as the sun is gone, it stops working.

It took me a while to set this up. It works fine. But I'm disappointed because I always thought solar panels stored energy so it would work on shady days and even in the dark. If some do. This one doesn't. It only runs when it's directly in the sun. Even if it's sunny, but a cloud goes past. It stops. As the sun moves across the sky and the shadow of a leaf or branch gets in the way, it stops. There's never a time or spot where there's sun constantly at my house, so its use is limited. I suggest finding one that stores the energy, if that's possible.

I have two bird baths that I use these small pumps in and it helps keep the water moving and attracts the birds, the cord connected to the solar panels are long so they can find sun easily, I actually zip tied the solar panel to my fence to keep them stable and in the sun. They are sturdy and hard working little pumps. Great value for my money easy to set up and I had fun trying out all the attachments to make the water sprinkle bubble or spray. Small but mighty

UPDATE: DONT BUY THIS!! At first the problem was how to place the solar panel somewhere since it came without a mount if any sort. BUT Do Not Buy this pump. It didn't even last 2 months and it's dead!!! It's so frustrating to have a piece of junk that won't even last 60 days. Even for the price this should last longer! This is junk!! Think twice before you waste your money!This could really be worth using if you could actually mount the solar panel. There is nothing included to mount the panel! The suction cups are useless. They will not stick to anything so we had to prop rocks on top of the tiny pump to keep it facing upwards. Best advice is to find a better quality bird bath fountain. This is not worth the money.
