A very worthwhile tool
I think there are a lot of coffee gadgets out there simply made to extract money from the coffee enthusiast. I have to say though that if there is one tool that made a big difference to the coffee I was making then it's this. Well made and highly recommended. Distributes the coffee in your portafilter ready for tamping. I could see and taste a difference immediately after using this.

Does Exactly What Is Promised
It seems that making a good cup of espresso can be as complicated or challenging as you care to make it, merely producing a drink or becoming a satisfying (or sometimes frustrating) hobby, on which you can spend a small fortune on a vast array of gadgets to help in the process. Happily this distributor/ tamper really does help in producing a good coffee puck and is therefore, in my opinion, worth its modest cost.

One that works at last!
Feels so solid and is very well designed and constructed.In the past they have never been able to be tailored to the perfect fit, but this one can be dialled in perfectly.What’s also good as once you have set the both sides, it’s locked in and you are good to go!Also is the perfect weight and feel for a gentle or heavier tamper press. I’m also surprised how much I now use the mat it came with.

Nice but a little too small for standard Sage/Breville Baskets
Got it to see if a leveller would improve tamping. Quite nice quality for the price but the diameter is too small for standard 54mm baskets. I measured the diameter at 50mm which leave an annoying 2mm rim at the edge of the coffee after tamping. Now sure I will bother using it.
