Sun2Solar Replacement Crank Wheel with Handle for Easy Gear Solar Reel

The replacement solar cover reel worked perfectly as a replacement to the original. I did need to drill out larger 1 side of the predrilled bolt holes to allow for the slight increase in bolt diameter on the Philips end of the original bolt.

I bought this to add a second crank on the other side of a different brand pool cover reel. I wish they all came with a crank on each side! This solved it for me. I had to drill a hole and provide my own screw and bolt.

I’ve had my solar blanket pool reel for eight years and the wheel finally gave out. I replaced it with this wheel and it was really very nice. The handle actually makes rolling up the solar blanket much easier and it was a breeze to put on.

It works very well, I would have given it five stars if it allowed for a second "peg" so you could use two hands more easily. When you are dealing with a 21' wide reel and a 36' long cover, it can be difficult at times to do one handed.

My old wheel lasted about three seasons. Fortunately, I was able to find a replacement for the wheel. This one was easy to install, and seems to be a good quality of expected the last four or five seasons.

Technically, not missing a screw, but I was surprised one is not included with the replacement. Fortunately, the screw from the crank handle I just replaced was still in good working condition. However, you may need get a new one if yours is lost, damaged, or doesn’t fit the new crank handle.
