Love it!
Great brush. Dense, soft, and mighty!

new version not as dense, not worth $52
I bought this brush a couple of years ago. It was extremely dense and I decided to buy a 2nd. Today's version of the brush has a smaller head and is less dense and is comparable to a $20 brush. I can't justify the cost.

Great foundation brush. Box says made in Italy, Sleeve says China?
This comes packaged in a nice white outer product box. Though the box says “Made in Italy,” the brush is inside a plastic sleeve that has a sticker that says “China.” There is a photo on the product page (3rd photo) that says “Made in China.” I would expect any company to be careful and provide clear and correct info on their packaging, but especially at this price point I would expect them to be sure to have clear and correct info. Why does the product box say “Made in Italy” if the brush is made in China? The only thing I can think of is the box itself is made in Italy, but who cares where the box itself is made, so they should just remove that all together to not have conflicting information. This seems to be the case with all their individual brushes…at least the ones I’ve tried so far. They all have come in an outer product that says “Made in Italy” and are in a plastic sleeve that says “China.” The brush is nice. It feels and looks like nice quality. It has a nice weight to it. The handle is black and shiny. It feels like metal. The ferrule feels like plastic and it is matte black. The hairs are black with white tips. They are really soft. They are cut evenly. There wasn’t any shedding. It is fluffy but still dense. It works well to apply foundation. It doesn’t apply it streaky at all. It’s a great size so it blends it out quickly without much effort. It also applies cream bronzer really well. Overall, I think this is a great brush! If you are looking for a foundation brush that has a nice look and feel and works well, this works great. I don’t like judging price when reviewing an item since everyone’s view of affordable/expensive differs. I will say, this brush is pretty darn pricey! It’s currently $48. I’ve tried a ton of foundation brushes just like this that are well made and work just the same but are half the price. I’ve also tried a ton of foundation just like this that are well made and work just the same and are the same price or more. I honestly don’t notice a difference between this and my favorite affordable ones! The hairs are just as soft, I had no shedding. So, for me, I wouldn’t really recommend this brush over the affordable ones like DUcare, Docolor, Elf, Wet n Wild, Real Techniques since I don’t see a difference in how it performs. So, because of that don’t see a reason for paying the higher price tag. But, if price isn’t a factor, this brush is great. I give it 4 stars. I took a star off for the box saying “Made in Italy” when both the plastic sleeve the brush was in and the product photos said made in China.

Great brush! The Alima Pure brushes are very soft ...
Great brush! The Alima Pure brushes are very soft and make it easy to apply the mineral make up (powder). You can continue to layer it for more coverage or just go with a light dusting. The brush is easy to hold and use and distributes the powder evenly. I have been using it for a few weeks and am very pleased with the purchase.

I received a USED It Cosmetics brush NOT the Alima Brush
I was extremely disappointed and also disturbed to receive a USED it Cosmetics brush (NOT the Alima brush I ordered)! It had powder foundation all over it.

Love this brush!
A great brush! It’s very soft and spreads on powder smoothly. It’s best to replace about every 6 months for best quality but hold up well over time.

Worth it
This is a great brush! It is quite pricy but works so well with the Alima satin foundation. I tried some of my other brushes but the application is the most flawless with the Alima brush. I highly recommend it!
