This charger is an exact match for the original one that came with the console.
I lost my original Wii-U charger so I picked this up as a replacement.Compatibility is not an issue so this charger fits the console perfectly, charges pretty quickly, and fixed the issue of falling out of the port as I had with the original after years of use.I haven't had any overheating issues with this charger as I have had with other aftermarket chargers for the Wii-U in the past.And so far it seems to be holding up quite niceley.The price was very good as I didn't have to spend a fortune just to keep my console fully charged.Hope this helps

Good replacement
I lost the original charger for my Wii U Gamepad and this was a good replacement for it. It has held up so far, and charged the gamepad relatively fast. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a replacement or a dupe to the more expensive Nintendo version.

Cheaper alternative charger than the original
When I receive this charger, I was kind of skeptical at first, but I was very surprised to see that it works just as good as the original. Plugged it into my Nintendo Wii U gamepad and charged it like the original. Certain things you can tell was cheaper, but it works so thats the important thing. For 7 bucks cant beat that
