Great for catching your child up to grade
These books are great to catch up your child on grade appropriate skills. Most of them are designed to read one page and answer questions on the next. They are perfect for kids with learning difficulties because it’s not too much information at once. I’ve ordered them in multiple subjects for multiple grades and always been impressed how much it helped my kids. Definitely recommend!

Good for 7th grade
My boy just finished first 8 pages, and I checked it. The book is really good for the content and I could know my boy better for his level from the answers he provided. Really enjoy it with my 7th grade boy.

Great supplemental book. Can also be used as a stand alone!
This book covers all the topics in 8th grade science, broken down into very workable page sets. You read a page, then answer questions. Read a page, answer questions. If you are homeschooling, you can easily have your child look up the day's reading online and research more on each topic. Well written and easy to follow.

8th Grade Homeschool Review:As a parent and homeschool educator, I've been using a set of books for 8th-grade homeschooling, and I'd like to share my thoughts. These books have proven to be a valuable resource in our homeschool journey. They provide a solid foundation for various subjects, covering a wide range of topics essential for 8th-grade students. What I appreciate most about these books is their comprehensive approach. They offer a well-structured curriculum that allows students to delve into subjects such as mathematics, science, literature, and history. The content is clear, and the exercises and activities help reinforce the learning process. However, it's worth noting that while these books are fantastic as guides, they might not provide all the answers. As with any educational materials, there may be moments when students need additional support or clarification. In such cases, we've found supplemental videos and other educational resources to be incredibly helpful. The combination of these books and supplementary materials has been the key to a well-rounded education.Subnote:This review is intended to serve as a general overview for all the books I'm currently using for 8th-grade homeschooling. If any of the books stand out, either for their exceptional quality or shortcomings, I will provide a more detailed review for that specific book. It's all about ensuring that our homeschooling experience is as enriching as possible.Note: I would add a few more books and have them Video find facts and fun as they go. Don't worry if you see them searching for these when they are suppose to be having fun. They get into it quick.

Wonderful science series. Well done!
My 11 year old absolutely loves this book. He moved rapidly through Spectrum Science Grade 7, and is going more slowly through this one, since he wants to savor it.Every time he works in it he has to share some interesting thing he learned with me. Science was my passion in college, so I love his enthusiasm! The layout of the book is great, with a page of reading on each new topic and a page of questions following. The questions really make you think, often leading to discussions, since the answers aren't always simple.I'm only sad there is no grade 9 Spectrum Science.
