Use with 6-inch sanding disks
I sort of wish these were thicker, but you can simply buy two and stack them. I've used these with random orbital and hand sanders, and both worked fine.I can't speak to their durability, but it seems like it's well made. I highly recommend using 6-inch disks with this 5-inch pad. That will protect the edges of the pad.

Surprisingly high quality
Can’t complain, used as an adapter to wet sand some corners on a truck’s body panel. Stays on the random orbital sander just fine.

I am unclear
as to how some of the reviews had trouble with this product. It is as good as any regardless of price.

Perfect Alternative to a Pad with Dust Collection Holes
This pad is great. I needed a pad that had no dust collection holes. I don't use sanding discs that have dust collection holes. Also, when using Abralon discs (soft cushioned abrasives) for wetsanding with an electric orbital sander, this pad is great. I don't want water going through my electric orbital sander for obvious reasons. There is one review here which the guy says his discs fly off of his sander. Either he has too much dust on his pad or his hooks/loops are worn. Replace your pad, problem solved.

Great product to relieve sanding by hand
This is exactly what I was expecting. Great for attaching to my orbital sander and being able to sand items that are not necessarily flat. The hooks and loops are strong and keep the sandpaper from sliding even after replacing the paper multiple times. I feel like this will hold up well and was not too expensive for what it is. As for dust collection holes, I haven't drilled any yet, but I'm sure I could without much effort to match my sander which is better than having lots of holes that don't necessarily match up.
