I may be a bit bias because I'm basically in the process of buying every Pop Cap game they make. All are simple fun. But this may be the simplest formatted game of them all. There's no "Adventure Mode." There's no variety in play. Just the simple Bejeweled game you've come to know and love. The newer games have different modes, so if you want variety, you may be better off with that one. But if you like the regular simple game of Bejeweled, then buy this game!

The first of the series and still a great game! First - a thank you for the answer to my main question -- it does indeed work on Windows 7. 14 years old and still going strong! It's a bit slower and more primitive than its successors but is still the same game. All play about the same way. It's amazing that some games stop working after a few years but if a game is written well, it stands the test of time! My CD has a copyright of 2000. That makes the game 14 years old and STILL works. I see no reason it would not work on Windows 8.1. I didn't even need compatibility mode!

When you load the game it won't let it go on the computer. The message says it needs additional program! This program did not state it needed anything else in the description. It also came late and in this case after Christmas!!! I would not use this company again. It was a gift to my sister, she sent a note. There has been no response!! We emailed. [...] and that is where I Emailed to, but no answer. The instructions on the back of the case were followed but the 5th step never came up.

I rencently started playing bejeweled. I was hooked right away. The concept is simple and yet challenges you at the same time. great game.

One of my 'old school ' games I fell in love with on my old desktop computer. Very hard to find .... Love it ❤️

Pretty good game. Makes you watch what your doing so you can score high points. Adults may get bored with it, I think it is geared more towards young kids.

This rating was chosen as it is a purchase that I enjoy and spend a lot of time doing. I was very happy the way the games worked

He had a copy that no longer stays "full screen" and he doesn't subscribe to internet. so i thought the disc would satisfied him. It's a Christmas gift..

Fun game

I enjoy this game. But I prefer bejeweled twist. When we lose the game we have to start over from the beginning.
