I've been using this light for about six months and just realized I never reviewed it. When I received it, there was no charging cable, I contacted OYOCO and they promptly sent me one. I have used the light quite a bit so far (the best being in my attic while running cables). The magnet is strong enough to hold the light upside down, great under the hood of my vehicle (I even used the magnets to find a dropped tiny screw in the grass once). There are two brightness settings, (though I seem to always use high, which is very bright) and have not had it die on me yet, before recharging. The emergency strobe is something I really don't need, (though I did use it on Halloween night, flashing on the wall behind me, while passing out candy). This is way better than the old halogen work lights I have had over the years (which get stupid hot, this is cool to the touch). I just ordered another as a gift. Recommended.Edit - July 7, 2019. The media could not be loaded.  Well I got this light because my son, who has been doing a ton of work around the house, has found a need for a good emergency/work light. This one really fits the bill. It is small and lightweight, but puts out a very bright LED light which has 3 settings. The first is what, for this light is, the dim setting, which is actually extremely bright with the 20 led lights. The next is the bright setting, which is much brighter than the dim setting. I would not recommend looking into the lights when they are on. They are THAT bright. The last setting is the emergency setting which has 2 red lights, and 2 blue lights that when they are flashing, they look a lot like a police car's light array. It has a magnetic base which can be placed on anything metallic. This is handy for almost anything that you need a little more light on. You can sit this almost anywhere, and the light swivels up and down, to direct the light to many different angles. It is rechargeable, so you will never need batteries. It's not a lot of money either. I really like it, and so does my son, as he has already used it replacing a kitchen faucet in our house. I would recommend this to anyone.

I actually laughed out loud when I took this out of the box because it's soooo small; I was expecting it to be as large as the halogen ones you get from Walmart. However once I turned it on, the laughing ceased and I was sold. It's way easier to drag around with you than the other kind, and since it doesn't get hot, you can grab it without burning your hand. The light output is about the same as the traditional flood light I used to use, but without the bulb break risk. It's a good buy!

For the $31 price, I expected new technology (100% brightness until battery dies).This was my biggest disappointment, because it’s bright at first, but soon not very useful when the light dims as the battery gets used up. Modern technology should be 100% bright, until the battery dies.Also annoying is it seems very bright when you first turn it on, then dims to near candlelight before you can finish what you are doing.. I suspect The only time this light is functional is when it’s nearly fully charged (nowhere in the ballpark of the claimed five hours light).I used it for plastering (skim coating; put on the floor to get a good look at the wall). And for working on the outside of the house when it started to get dark on me. In both cases the light wasn’t enough (except perhaps if it were fully charged).Bottom line this light may be functional for these things, writhing 30 minutes (guessing) of a full charge. I think the description said 5-hours light.. but I assure you it will be like a 1-candle-light well before that. And you’ll be in that annoying grey area before you know it, not knowing if the light is dimming, or of your eyes are shot.No other major issues. I didn’t like the handle because it seemed useless to clip or hang it anywhere (an articulating arm with a strong clip would have been ideal).. or just a hook. The only thing this handle is good for is carrying it..And the power switch is a little hard to get to.

Surprisingly a really great light. It’s very bright, and the magnetic strength is very strong. I must admit I had low expectations because of the price. But the build quality was quite decent and I can’t really say anything bad about it. It lit up a huge area in my backyard and definitely serves its purpose as a portable flood light. Best part is that it doesn’t have to be plugged in when used. Love it. Exceptional value for the price!

It basically fell apart after few months. Sturdy look is nothing but just a look.

Very practical light. Sever uses around the house, the attic, the car and outdoor. Best part - it is rechargeable!
