Good Value
The cord is long, the clip is strong, and it pics up well at close range - but the microphone recording quality is mediocre at best. It sounds like it's in your pants pocket while recording audio, even when it's just in front of or under your mouth. Good for recording data and facts, not great for streaming or entertainment production (YouTube, TikTok, etc)

Exactly what I was looking for in my specific case
I can’t wear headphones while gaming and it’s nearly impossible to find a microphone on its own that can connect to a PlayStation or Xbox controller. This actually works. The only downside is that while playing with my friends, they can hear their echo. However, until someone makes a standalone microphone with noise canceling, which seems to be a very niche market, this does exactly what I was hoping.

Inconsistent Performance with Limited Compatibility!
As someone always on the lookout for professional-grade recording equipment, I was intrigued by the Gyvazla Lavalier Microphone’s promise of clean and clear sound for various recording needs. With its easy clip-on system and noise-canceling capabilities, I had high hopes for this lapel mic to elevate my interviews, video conferences, podcasts, and voice dictations. However, after purchasing and using this microphone, I must admit that my experience has been a rollercoaster of disappointments and frustrations.Let’s start with the positives. The Gyvazla Lavalier Microphone does have the potential to record clean and clear sound in some situations. It has been adequate for basic applications like podcasting and voice dictation, where background noise is minimal. The plug-and-play feature with the 3.5mm TRRS compatible jack is convenient, as it allows me to connect it effortlessly to various devices, including Apple products, Android smartphones, and Windows laptops. The inclusion of a black bag and additional accessories, such as the metal adapter (TRRS type) and angle adapter (TRS type), is appreciated. These accessories add some versatility to the microphone’s usage, especially when connecting it to different devices. The 2-meter length clip microphone provides enough flexibility to move around during recordings, which is a plus for hands-free use. However, the microphone’s performance falls short of the promised noise-canceling capabilities. While it might work fine in quiet environments, it struggles to filter out background noise in busier or noisier settings. This limitation hampers its effectiveness in recording interviews or video conferences, as the audio quality can be compromised by unwanted distractions. The compatibility issues with certain devices are also a major drawback. The microphone is not compatible with Macbook Pro 2014 and 2015, which is a significant limitation for users like myself who rely on these devices for professional work. Additionally, for computers with two audio ports, the need to use the angle adapter (included in the package) to connect firmly adds an extra step and can be frustrating when trying to achieve a seamless recording setup. The build quality of the Gyvazla Lavalier Microphone is another concern. While the microphone might work initially, it tends to show signs of wear and tear after prolonged use. The clip-on system, which is essential for hands-free use, can become loose over time, resulting in instability during recordings. This compromises the overall reliability of the microphone, as it can disrupt recordings or lead to unforeseen technical difficulties.Furthermore, the lack of clear instructions in the user manual is disappointing. As a user, I expect detailed and easy-to-follow instructions to make the most of the microphone’s features and potential. However, the user manual provided with the Gyvazla Lavalier Microphone lacks clarity, leaving me puzzled and unsure of how to address certain issues that arose during my recording sessions. In conclusion, the Gyvazla Lavalier Microphone shows promise in some basic recording applications but falls short in delivering consistent and reliable performance. The noise-canceling capabilities are not as effective as claimed, and the microphone’s compatibility issues with certain devices, including Macbook Pro 2014 and 2015, are significant drawbacks. The lack of clear instructions in the user manual and the microphone’s questionable build quality add to the overall disappointment. For content creators and professionals seeking a dependable and high-quality lapel microphone for interviews, podcasts, and voice dictations, the Gyvazla Lavalier Microphone might not be the ideal choice. While it may suffice for simple voice recordings, its limitations and inconsistencies make it challenging to rely on for more demanding recording scenarios. As a user, I will be exploring other options that offer better performance, compatibility, and durability for my recording needs.

The media could not be loaded.

Nice and simple, easy to use.
Nice little lapel mic. Using Audacity to record produces a very clean recording. No pops, hisses or noise. It's a nice tidy package with a couple of spare mic covers and a few adapters for different devices. All in all, a tidy well priced solution. 5/5.
