I don't drink wine very often maybe a bottle once a month. That is because opening a bottle is a pain that I once injured myself opening it. I have used the traditional corkscrew and eventually upgraded to a wing corkscrew. The traditional corkscrew was pretty challenging since I needed both hands and feet. Yes! I used my feet to secure the bottle as I pull out the cork with my right arm. Not fun at all.The wing corkscrew was okay. I still had to pull it out with some force at the end since it doesn't fully pull out the cork. I always hated that moment when the cork flies out unexpectedly as you pull, so I was pretty hesitant when I came upon this rabbit bottler opener.Wow! What a great difference! Let's just say I have now started to enjoy a bottle about every week since it's so convenient, easy, and effortless. I no longer dread on the cork flying out with force and holding on the bottle for dear life. What is also cool about this opener is that it also removes the cork from the screw by pushing it back down. I highly recommend this rabbit opener for anyone who enjoys drinking wine. The packaging is also nice, and it comes with a spare corkscrew along with other accessories. This opener can also make a great gift for anyone.

Rarely does one find a "gadget" that not only functions as described, but is also fun to use. Ienjoy an occasional glass of wine with lunch or dinner, but I haven't always enjoyed getting the cork out of the bottle. Corks sometimes break while extracting them, forcing me to push the remainder into the bottle, or attempt to re-insert the screw. This NW Elegance device put an end to my cork extraction struggles. With a single lift of the lever, corks are easily extracted in one piece every time. However, after a few month use, the extracted corks are very difficult to remove from the worm. I have to use a pair of pliers to twist them off. This does not happen with thicker corks, which easily slide off the worm when the lever is lifted.

Have now purchased two of these. First lasted 6 months then began to push bottle cork into the bottle when opening. Second worked for about 8 months (domestic use, 1-2 bottles/week) then screw would not pull cork out of bottle, just unscrewed.Do you have a product that will last more than half a year, would be willing to pay more.

Bought this wine opener after we got tired of a more expensive one pushing corks into the bottle. This wine opener worked very well for a little over a month, but recently "blew up" (with side fasteners and springs shooting out) when trying to open a bottle with a tighter cork. Back to the drawing board to find an opener that works reliably ...

This opener worked well until it didn't. Tonight, only six months after purchase, I tried to open a wine bottle and the metal housing at the top of the screw mechanism snapped right off. Kaput. End of corkscrew.

I bought this opening and it broke within four months. It always felt cheaply made. I am very disappointed and looking to see if there is a warranty on this item. Addition to review: It has been more than a week since I asked the seller to respond to my email on this product and I have heard nothing. I would not recommend purchasing from this seller since they do not respond to concerns.

This makes opening wine bottles a cinch! This thing makes me want to drink wine just so I have an excuse to open a bottle. I hate it when I try to open a bottle and I break the cork in the bottle and it makes it almost impossible to get the bottle opened cleanly. With this bottle opener it is super easy and always consistent when opening wine bottles. This one comes with a stand and easy to use foil cutter that fits into the stand perfectly.

This is a great wine bottle opener! It is quality made. I can't imagine using using my hand corkscrews again. It comes with a stand so I don't have to dig around in a drawer to find a bottle opener. Recommend!
