Great yarn, easy to work with and reasonable priced. Makes great baby blankets. Colors are consistent for each dye lot and the weight and size are perfect.

Great yarn for light weight projects. Great colors and soft
Arrived the next day and it was a Sunday. Still do not know how that happened. Seller is great and price was good. Yarn came in plastic wrap so it was protected. Now about the yarn... this is a very light weight yarn. I use it for Tunisian crochet since this style of crochet is very dense and projects can become heavy. The variegation is nice. The yarn is soft but does split somewhat easily but I find using bamboo needles helps this. The yarn has a lot of "stretch" in it as opposed to other yarns that are much stiffer. I fear that it may become snagged very easily after project is finished but that is yet to be seen since I am not done. it is the right weight for Tunisian and would be great for baby blankets. I tried this with a corner to corner pattern and found the yarn to be to thin for an adult afghan. Added some pics so you can see how the variegation looks. I like working with this yarn even with the small splitting problem. If you catch your loops correctly you can avoid the splits. I do not know a better way to say that. Some of the skeins are great and have no knots and easy to find end, others are a pain in the rump and are knotted in the center and hard to find the starting thread, it is the luck of the draw. I find this true with most yarns I work with. The colors are great, it has teal, white, brown and dark blue I am afraid the photo's do not do it justice. If this yarn does not snag I will be using it again. Perfect for Tunisian Afghans. I made a bedspread for a full size bed out of the Caron one pound yarn using a pattern with DC stitch and it weighed 9 pounds when I was done and that is to heavy for people to use as an blanket.

Some of the better acrylic yarn.
So far, caron is some of the better acrylic yarn I've come across. It's soft, the colors are decent. I feel like there are some colors the brand really should consider. The yarn size is an average across the board, so it is easy to use and versatile. It isn't too thick and it is durable.I used to get all of my caron yarn at Joann fabrics. Due to them closing, I will most likely have to turn to Amazon for this yarn. I hope they can keep the colors I need in stock.
