A solid beef Jerky for those wanting value and flavor
Old trapper was a gem I found while on a roadtrip out to Baltimore at a small hole in the wall gas station. Since then there's been no jerky that even comes close to the level of quality. The taste is rich, the meat itself nicely smoked, and not too tough but not too moist, resulting in nice balance of bite and texture. I prefer jerky that's more on the firm and tougher side, which makes this jerky well and truly the best I've ever had. The price is a bit on the higher side for 10ozs of meat, but compared to Jack links at the same price for less meat, I have to say overall I would buy Old Trapper over Links anyday.

Delicious and “fresh” - tasty jerky!
We love this jerky and it’s often a better price on Amazon than our local HEB. So tasty and soft (but not too soft) perfect jerky texture imo! It’s a larger amount and a great protein snack. Definitely try it if you haven’t- you will love it! Oh! And It always tastes “fresh” if you can say that about a jerky.

Best Jerky Around
You wont find a better jerky around. This is fresh and has lots of flavor without being over the top. This is a favorite snack in our house and we take it with us on road trips and hikes. This is the best value for the price that I have been able to find.
