It works for very picky eaters!
Our 2 year old 7 lb Yorkie/Pom fur baby, Munchkin, was only 6 weeks old and 12oz! He ate well 4x a day for the first 6 months, and then would only eat every 2-3 days after that no matter what we tried; and we tried every dog food on the market. We now make his healthy food at home from a Vet’s recipe (ground meat, eggs, cottage cheese, veggies, fish oil, oatmeal or brown rice, olive oil) and add dog vitamins to it. He still only ate every 2-3 days, although our Boston terrier/Jack Russell mix at 23 lbs now at a year old that we got as a playmate last year has always eaten well. Munchkin was drinking and acting his usual rambunctious self! We tried adding everything to top the food: cooked meat or fish scraps, chicken jerky he loves, lamb’s liver treats, water packed tuna, various other boost or food toppers, and still the same! We were giving him Tomlin supplements, but that is expensive and not really helping his poor eating habits. We took away all other treats and stopped giving him dinner treats from our plates and only rewarding him with praise and treats when he eats his food, but it still didn’t work. He just doesn’t care! I looked it up and some info online said it was selective anorexia and usually in very picky eaters. This is very worrying because he is so small and only needs 1/2 cup of food a day anyway. After trying everything, I just tried this product. We give him the recommended dose of the liquid vitamin/appetite inducer by eye dropper, and he seems to enjoy it. After the first night, he had a good appetite the next day and ate all his food without coaxing!! So far this is working, and we are keeping our fingers crossed it continues to do so. Well worth the price, so I will be ordering more.

Essential to New Bichon Moms
I raise Bichons - and this is one of my favorite products for my mommies after they give birth. Gives each mom a vitamin boost and helps her recover faster. I always keep it on hand and do recommend to my puppy families.

Great product
Dogs love the taste and is a must have for post surgery! My vet has always sent this home with me after my pets have had tummy issues or a surgery but it costs more at the vet so I bought it on Amazon for a much better rate.Easy to measure. Not clear as described though, it's brown just like the one I get at the vets office.Smells like chocolate milk (does not have chocolate obviously)Gives your pet their appetite back and gives them back their energy. Easy to give to your pet since they all love the taste

Try it! It just may help
I got this for my older dog because he's been under the weather. It's definitely not palatable. He generally eats anything. I have to give to him through a syringe. It did help him somewhat. However, not enough to spend $18 for a tiny bottle. All dogs arent created equal, I would say give it a try! It just might help your dog or cat.

Great recovery product
This product has been amazing for my maltipoo dog. She had surgery in May for Pyometra and was unusually slow in recovery. We discovered she was in kidney failure and were advised to euthanize her. She had gone from 9 pounds to 6.5. This product helped her immensely and I believe stimulated her desire to eat. We still fed her via syringe for almost 2 months intermittently to get her the calories and nourishment she needed. But after an hour two of administering 3ml she was showing interest in food. It is now 6 months later and she is almost back to ber normal weight and we still administer this with her meds...she seems to like the flavor and the consistency is good to mix. This continues to help her and there is a noticeable difference when we discontinued it.She takes other products as well but I firmly believe this has played an important role in her recovery. For the price it is not any more expensive than other things we have tried. The only negative is that because she is small, she does not get much, nor does she get it every day;and if you go by the 7 day expiration date after opening (it needs to be refrigerated after opening) we throw out 1/3 of each bottle. We only continue to use it occasionally because of her kidney condition and the benefits we still see. This product helped save her life and got her eating and interest in things around her.If your dog is only recovering from a surgery and needs that extra something this is the thing to try. If my dog had not been in kidney failure we would have maybe used a total of two bottles over two weeks at the most.

READ if you have a big dog - there’s a reason they make dosing information hard to find
My 15 year old pitbull had major surgery last week and unsurprisingly has not had the best appetite. Given how fussy he usually is (even when he's not sick) I was surprised that he really seems to enjoy the taste of this product. I VERY slowly syringe fed it to him through the side of his mouth (Please don't syringe straight to the back of the throat). I'm not sure why it's labeled clear because it's most definitely not.ProsMy dog loves the tasteAdds nutrientsCons- Expensive- No larger container size. Keep in mind the amount you give is based on a pets weight, so it may not be an issue for a small dog, but the bottle is only 5.1 FL OZ (150 mL). In practical terms that means if you have an 80 lb dog this will only last 2 days.- No dosing information (that I could easily find) in product listing, so i added pic of dosing guide from the manufacturer's website

Life saver for my puppy
I am truly satisfied with this product! My puppy was sick and wouldn't eat and barrky drank anything. This recovery product in conjunction with a natural antibiotics got my puppy coming around. This is a life saver to my puppy. I had to feed it to her via syringe and after about a day of taking this she slowly started eating again. I'm so satisfied with this item.
