20V MAX XR Cordless Drill/Driver Kit, Brushless, Compact, with 2 Batteries and Charger (DCD800D2)

This replaced a Rockwell 20v drill/driver that I really liked. This one works better all the way around. The clutch is far better, smoother with real range. The light is bright enough to really be useful. Plenty of power for most jobs short of using a 1/2 inch plug in drill. I don't think that it would handle a 4 inch hole saw except on low speed but I haven't tested it that hard. The compact form is really nice for getting into tighter spaces and it's not terribly heavy. The batteries last a surprisingly long time, even in cold weather. This is a far better tool than the Rockwell was (no longer available) and worth every penny.

Had to replace my older one and this was the next generation of what I had. Works great. Great power. Dewalt quality.....implants to abuse the hell out of it for the next 10 years.

I've had this for a while now and it's a little beast. The compact size allows me to comfortably handle it even in small spaces where I need to drive in screws or nails. The flashlight makes it easier to see in dark spaces while you're working. The kit comes with everything you need. I'm just a normal guy that does home repairs and average things around the house, but this is a great option and exceeds my needs. The battery life is great AND you get a second battery with the kit.

Great tool. Powerful and lite

Nice Implement….Solid piece. If you get around the shop with ease you know Dewalt’s products are upper tier!. Has enough torque for most jobs. Battery life could be a little better when having to muscle up on a project. As far as cordless goes this drill makes the cut!!

I recently both the 10 tool pack of Dewalt tools, upgrading from an older Ryobi kit. There’s a lot of good stuff in there, but the bluetooth speaker is trash, and might be awhile before I use some of the various cutting tools but it was a good value to me. I picked up this drill as well as the big impact driver because I wanted the more compact brushless drill “just because”. I will say, I’m super happy with it, it’s my default when I grab the drill and has had plenty of power. I like the chuck on it a lot as well, makes it easy to really lock down drill bits and prevent them from getting stuck or spinning in the chuck.

This has turned out to be a great drill set. Very powerful and the batteries seem to hold up well. I'll update the review if things change over time.

I've seen this drill in countless fixer upper videos and just had to have one. Brushless is the way to go! No metal smell when it spins! Also this one is more compact than other drills, easier to handle.

Output is 110 volts, which is not suitable for Saudi Arabia, although I ordered the product from Amazon Saudi Arabia!, also the socket is shape of ( II ) (American) and does not suit the needs of Saudi Arabia.
