The king of the Leatherman knock offs!!
Wow, what a deal! This is sweet for the price! Really nice spring loaded action on the pliers. Knife is sharp, carabiner is good quality. Not as heavy as a leatherman , but is pretty solid. Nylon case isn’t as nice as leatherman, but it’s ok. Scissors are sharp but it’s a little clunky to get the action to lockout on them. I like the ruler, decent Phillips head. Tool needed a little lubricant out of the box. Overall good purchase. Probably the best value at the price tier.

Great product and reasonable price!
Well made, all parts work smoothly. The locking function is very nice and adds real safety. The belt carrying case is nicely made and makes it easy to carrying the tool.

Perwin vs. Leatherman Rebar
My review is limited to a comparison between the Perwin multitool and the Leatherman Rebar, which seems the appropriate Leatherman counterpart to the Perwin, having 17 tools of the same general nature. It seems the Chinese have inspected a number of Leatherman multitools, adopted the functions they like, and they have improved others. In certain respects the Perwin is much better than a Rebar. For example, the Perwin has spring loaded pliers. It also has a file which the Rebar lacks. IMHO the Perwin also has a better knife blade. The rebar has no tools accessible from the outside, whereas the Perwin has four: file/ruler, knife blade, saw, and scissors. The Perwin's plier handles are comfortable to grasp; the Rebar's plier handles have sharp spots and are uncomfortable to use, like many Leathermans. Both multitools have the standard accouterments including an awl, cap lifter, can opener, Phillips screwdriver, and large and small standard screwdrivers. The Rebar's Phillips screwdriver is more robust than the Perwin's, and it has a serrated blade the Perwin lacks. ( I've never found that particular blade very useful because I don't cut much heavy cordage). However, the Perwin has a useful package opener the Rebar lacks. All the tools on both units lock open, except for the pliers. It appears the steel of the Perwin is 440A and the Rebar is 420HC. Both are fine for a multitool as far as I'm concerned. Both units appear to be well made and robust. I haven't used the Perwin extensively yet, so I can't speak to the quality of its metalurgy. The Perwin also has one item I like much better than the Rebar--and other Leathermans including the Bond and Super Tool 300. The fasteners used to hold together these Leathermans themselves require a specialized tool to adjust tension. It has to be special ordered on the internet. That's a nuisance. The Perwin uses fasteners adjustable with a commonly available hex key, as are some Leatherman multitools. I guess the big questions comes down to this: all things being roughly equal, is buying American (Leathermans are made in Oregon) and the Leatherman name worth $60.00 more? I recently bought the Perwin for $20.00 and the Rebar currently sells for about $80.00 on Amazon.com. (Who knows what the Perwin will cost after the application of the Trump tariffs on Chinese goods.) Unfortunately, many Americans don't have the income or the inclination to take such issues seriously. The Perwin does seem to be a better value than the Rebar.

Good for an emergency - maybe too many implements in this tool?
Nice tool. Difficult to remove from the pouch. Some of the implements are difficult to get open. Learning to open the device is by trial and error. Minimal instructions. Possibly too many implements for reliable use. A mini tool kit to keep in an old car or on the ranch in the side-by-side. You never know when you might need it. No corkscrew? An oversight. Compact and not too heavy.

BUY IT!!
WOW! These feel premium and really sturdy! They are definitely worth the money, I read the reviews before purchasing and I agree with them! This multitool is really well made and will be in my EDC from now on. If you're thinking of purchasing, do it! The blades are reallyyy sharp, the scissor is great and really well made too. The only petty complaint I have is it has no pocket clip but.. I got past it for this price point. Just buy it!

Has a very sturdy feel
I just received the Perwin 22 in 1 multi tool. It feels heavy for it's size. It comes with a pouch that is a clip-on style for belt, strap or pocket. It also has a hole in the bottom for a water drain. There is also a clip on the tool itself. The tolerances are very close; there is no wiggle and the tools come out alright but it feels tight. The tools lock in pIace very solidly; took me a bit to find the thin black lock plates that release the various tools. The pliers are spring loaded and feel real nice. The scissors needed a little extra pushing to lock because of a little interference with the frame. The file tooling, which is one of the reasons I bought it could be a tad longer but seems reasonable. It has a metal/wood file on one side and what looks like a diamond or sapphire coated nail file which could also be used as a knife sharpener. It has no teeth for cutting metal on the sides as some other tools have. The wrench, which works as a keeper for the outside tools on one side and is reasonably thick, has several metric sizes 7, 8, 10 and 14. I wish, that here they had made it a 13mm instead of the 14mm. Overall, it is an impressive tool for the price.

Excellent Value
Honestly a great tool! I bought it to replace a multitool I found on the ground one day and was using for months. It's solid and the scissors are actually useful! The carabiner integrated into the handle is super handy to have, I'm always setting things down and forgetting where they went!
