Easy and effective
Works well. No smell, cheap, and already caught a few roaches. Best part: no set up required! Simply open the package and place where you want them!

The classic reliable option. It just works. "Roaches check in, but they don't check out."
My apartment in northern GA may be up on the third floor, but it does have a problem with the creepy-crawlies every now and then. The roaches generally show up in abrupt waves, at intervals of a few months, often after a heavy rainstorm. There's also the normal "living in the South" problem of those small crunchy beetles that stink to high heaven if you smash them. The apartment complex does what it can, but...we're in the South. We're gonna get bugs.I have tried, and am not a fan, of the foldable glue traps. They're unsightly, and when the cat stepped into one, it promptly turned into a slapstick comedy routine. So, I decided to try these. Placed half a dozen of them in a 900 sq. ft. apartment (2 on either side of the balcony door, 2 on either side of the oven where there are gaps in the kitchen cabinets, one each in the bathroom and office room, all of them right up against the baseboard). Overkill? Maybe. But I had no idea beforehand how well these things would work. The verdict: they DO work, and do so outstandingly. Since placing them several months back, I have seen exactly one creepy-crawly bug in the open in the entire apartment. And left to his own devices he'd likely find a way to get stuck in the thing shortly. That's it. Zero roaches. For that matter, zero spiders, something of a miracle in Georgia. After a few months, I assume that they're probably due for replacement soon, but they're still working. Unlike the foldable glue traps, there's a bit of a "ramp" at either end that not only acts as a wall once the bugs cross it, but also blocks the trapped bug corpses from view. They seem to be cat-proof as well - the ramp entrances make it impossible for the cat to get stuck on the thing unless they REALLY tried, while the bugs are hidden from the cat's view as well. Win/win.These cost a bit more than the generic glue traps, but they're worth it. They simply work. There's a reason the things have been on the market for nearly 50 years. My only "gripe" is that I wish they had a selection of a few colors to blend in with the decor better, but that's a quibble. When the glue on these stops being effective, I'm definitely buying another batch.

good first line of defense
affordable product for a first line of defense for homes. we had some issues in the past, set these bad boys up in some known areas, as well as one other product for killing roaches, caught a few and haven't see any in a while. decent product before having to call in the big guns (exterminator)

Good trap, but they do not attract the roaches as advertised, and smell bad.
These are very effective when placed in the right place. If these are put in the high traffic area they catch a ton of roaches and are very effective. I would give them 5 stars but for two things: they do not attract the roaches though they claim the do, so if not in the path that they use they will not catch anything, and they smell bad. If in an enclosed place they oder is unpleasant. I put them in the bathroom, but had to keep the door closed to keep my cat out of them, and the smell was pretty bad. Otherwise, used in concert with poison traps, they helped eliminate the infestation.

10/10
Bought these because I’ve been having issues with tiny roaches in my car out of no where. I 10/10 recommend. After one night there were about 20+ roaches in the trap. While I am also grossed out because I hate bugs and these are in my car I will continue to repurchase and reuse. It seems that I have less and less roaches now. I’m praying this works because I really don’t want a car with roaches 😂

Time tested quality. 👍
They work pretty good. Here at my place they get full pretty quick with tree roaches so I changed to foggers. They get the job done.

Too soon to tell but these worked when I was a kid...
I can't really comment on if these work, because it's not like I'm dealing with a huge infestation. It's just that I have seen three American roaches (those big 3-inch flying ones) near an AC vent in a particular room over the last week. I live out in the desert and the weather is starting to get humid because monsoon season is starting up. I live here almost a month and didn't see a single roach until this past week.It won't be an issue of IF these things work, but more so if the roaches ever FIND THEM and actually go inside. But, I can say that, when I was a kid, my dad put these in our kitchen one time. My parents had bought a used stove and when they turned it on for the first time tons of roaches just came pouring out of it. Always be cautious of buying used stuff lol. However those were your standard size small house roaches. I am trying to combat an issue with those big flying buggers that are difficult to even kill when you step on them... Nonetheless, because we had animals and children in the house he put these things all over the place and I really would see roaches in them all the time stuck and unable to get out. That's what led me to purchase these "motels" this time. However, in my case, I am also using a whole arsenal against these roaches. I've also purchased the poison gel (that comes in a large plastic syringe) as well as roach baits that you put down (those black plastic things). This is because I now live in an apartment. And you just do not know how large an infestation really is in an apartment. You also don't know how your neighbors are living and how filthy they may be. Therefore, in an apartment I am not just treating my apartment I'm literally trying to treat this whole building. I want it to be enough that it's going to get back to the nest or else the problem will never go away.I will try to remember if I find any roaches in them to update this review. Again, not finding roaches in them doesn't mean that they wouldn't work.. it just means that my other methods that I'm using may have got to them first and they never found the hotels to walk in to.
