My two outside cats do need shelter. I'm not sure it will make it through the winter, I really doubt it. Buy a small igloo type doghouse make a Styrofoam floor and place a foam pad on top. That will help keep them warm. a regular 60-watt bulb will generate heat. put your thinking cap on. Don't buy this unless you're in a pinch. I'm sure there are better options out there. pictures are deceiving.
