how long is the pole on this system?

There are two poles, both telescoping. One works with a hose and shutoff valve with a brush at the end, and is 8 feet at full length. The other has a mop or squeege attachment and is 11.7 feet fully extended. I bought this kit to clean my solar panels which I can reach with an extension ladder without having to get onto the roof. The shorter pole with the brush and hose works better but is pretty cumbersome. I'm now using the longer pole with the soft "mop" and have had good results.

Yes, if snow accumulates on your solar panels, you can use the Mr. Long Arm to sweep off snow. Of course, you will need to exercise caution not to pour hot water on the panels that could crack frozen panel glass and not use water through the poles that could simply freeze on the solar panel.

Not quite what I had hoped for

Shipment was days late instead of 2 day prime as offered. Not the products fault.I bought the system to clean my solar panels without needing to get on the roof. If you work from a ladder be aware that the brush becomes a little heavy and if you have a weak back you probably will probably find that you strain it if you work the unit side to side. The squeegee angel is tot steep enough to do the job well if you are parallel to the panel and is not as useful as I had hoped. I watched all of the videos before I bought. If you can work from the roof or from the ground like you would for doing windows I think your experience will be better than mine. If you tighten the slip joints tight enough to keep them from moving you may find it difficult to loosen them again without tearing the foam handle loose from the tube.I kept the unit as I will try and get on the roof (when my wife is away) and hope for a better result.

Don't bother!

Used this product to clean our solar panels and window hard to reach. The angle of the post made it impossible to clean at the correct angle and then it fell apart with the screw dropping into the shrubs. Very disappointed!

Kit is very short sighted. Very limited in reach (8' to 12')

Sold as a Solar panel cleaning system. The big problem, you have to climb on the roof in order to use this device. When the company was contacted their response was it is what it is -SHORT of EXPECTATiONS- Really not happy with this system. Did not return the item as I did try to use it and do not return used items System should allow delivering water through a brush at least 25'.

The plastic fitting breakes easily

The system is relatively flimsy, one section broke after using it once with the scrub brush. I was shocked! Thought this product would last as it was recommended.
