My preferred food colouring brand
This is my go to brand. Always good quality, great pigment for intensity of colour. Doesn’t change consistency of buttercream or fondant.

Great colours
Great colours, only need a small amount to create brilliant coloured icing- fantastic for Halloween cakes

Bad texture..
I’ve brought sugar flair before and it’s been absolutely brilliant, so it was a no brainer to purchase the colours for my son’s minion themed cake. However I’ve been quite disappointed the colouring itself is so hard it crumbles and it took an awful lot of hard work to break it up and not have lumps of undissolved food colouring which meant I didn’t reach the blue colour I desired due to how much time it took. The last lot I brought was a paste and much easier to use this was rock solid and not even standing it in hot water helped!

Gold and Frosted Green
As always the quality is excellent. Unfortunately not worth the extra pennies to buy gel colours with shimmer in them. Yes, both colours have shimmer when you look at the gel colouring, but once mixed with the sugar paste, shimmer is as good as non existent in the gold and not at all there in the frosted green. This range of gel colours normally has great colour and accurately described; unfortunately not this time. The gold is just a basic sand colour and the frosted green no different to the party green, almost bright apple.I needed to dust the sand with edible gold shimmer after the cake was completed. As for the green, I mixed a few drops of red into the mix to produce a green similar to that advertised, minus the shimmer.

OK but very thin and easily breakable
Not expensive but it looks cheap
