I was surprised at how quickly and effectively this works. The water was sparkling clear and there was not a heavy scent of chemicals. All algae that had started forming on the bottom was gone, with very little effort from me. Well worth every penny!

This stuff works great at both treating algae and preventing it. I live in Phoenix AZ so my pool is more like a hot tub right now. The warm water is unfortunately very susceptible to algae growth if you don't stay strictly on top of your chemicals. It clears up the water very good. It hasn't gotten rid of ALL the black algae but it's been stubborn against every product I've used. Pool clears up within 24hours. Not too bad on the chlorine smell. Works for at least the week. Ive been getting better at treating the pool weekly to prevent any algae. Like I said the warm water will let algae grow like crazy if I don't stay on top of it. Not any products fault.

Works great for keeping the pool clear and algae-free. The cal-hypo formula is strong and effective, but it can leave some residue if not well distributed. Has a strong chlorine smell, but overall a reliable shock treatment.

Excellent Product at a Great Price!This shock is an amazing value and works exactly as promised. It keeps our pool crystal clear with minimal effort. We’ve tried other brands, but this one stands out for both effectiveness and affordability. I’ll definitely keep buying it!

best shock ever don’t waste your money on others, cleared up algae that inferior shock did nothing for.it is durable and has great chlorine content. we bought clorox shock because it was cheaper and had algae, but once we put this shock i. pooled, cleared it overnight

The HTH shock works so much better than others I have used. It dissolves so much faster its amazing. It keeps my pool crystal clear all season long and just 1 bag a week for upkeep. I have tried many others and they either take forever to dissolve or it seems like i need to use more often. I strongly suggest using HTH for your pool needs its so easy to use.
