Since I received this item my night light has not turned on. My room is completely dark when I turn off my lights and I tried touching the sensor. I am trying to get customer support but the seller website does not allow for an email to be sent for service. Please help as I purchased this particularly because there was supposed to be a functionable nightlight.

On first blush, the unit is quite clever. It has power outlet expansion, USB 3 and USB 1 ports, a shelve and a night light. However, upon use of the unit there are several issues. 1 - The night light is supposed to operate when there is sufficient darkness. In reality you must turn on the light and it stays on all the time. If you turn off the light, then it stays off all the time. There is night light capability. I made several inquiries to the vendor and they have been unable to answer whether or not I was doing something wrong. 2- The shelve is a single layer. There are two issues with that. The shelve is not solid and will sag. The second issue is that if it was a two layer shelf, the shelf would be much stiffer and would be able to contain the wire of the Amazon speaker rather than having to coil it up and have it visible.The USB ports seem to work so far. The electrical outlets seem to work for now.

All of the outlets work, and it was easy to install. Would definitely purchase if we needed this anywhere else in the house. Really appreciate all of the extra outlets, and it's pretty compact.
