I hate how much I love these sticks. It makes me question my Vater loyalty. Super light, strong, balanced. Only lost a star because they transfer a bit more vibration than I'd care for. But at 6 bucks for two pair, how can you not like this deal? Great for backup sticks, at the least.

I like how lightweight they are. They do chip after a while because I unintentionally hit the rims a lot. I also have some hickory and oak sticks that won't chip but those woods are heavier and can make my joints hurt. Every time I go back to the maple sticks, it's wonderful how light they are. Hours later, I'm still having fun.

I’m not used by them for an actual drum. I ordered them to use on an exercise ball to do Cardiac Drumming Exercises. They work perfectly.
