This is a good starter set for disc bound notebooks. It is half-letter sized (close to A5 for those familiar with those standards) and contains everything for most uses- tabs The paper is excellent, thick and smooth, and shows no ghosting for any of the pens I have used- fountain pen, gel, or even felt tip. I would have preferred college ruled, rather the wider ruling of these pages, but the page layout is useful. Sturdy covers mean I can carry the notebook with me, and always be able to write in it, even if I don't have a flat surface handy.

My daughter got this notebook for school because it wasn’t as big as the other 5-subject notebooks. She likes it - her only complaint is that the pages rip off somewhat easily, so you have to be careful when you handle it. She likes the fact that the tabs that separate the different subjects, can be moved.

I was recommended this by a friend. I'm very particular about my notesbooks. Then otebook is good and works well it just had some bits I didn't care for. First the size of the rings are thick and thankfully sturdy however i felt it was difficult to write with, especially on the back page. Removing the paper was difficult. I would have to carefully pop each bit out one at a time or risk tearing or bending to an unusable state. I bought this junior sized discbound journal on a whim when I was purchasing the 8.5x11 size. I thought I could take it to my many meetings and seminars. This little journal has been more useful than the letter sized one! It is very portable and I just throw it on my bag. It lives in my bag and I always have my notes accessible. I am using the dividers to keep myself organized and keep all my notes in one place. If you are part of different groups with monthly or quarterly meetings, this is great for you. It was a great purchase. The sticky labels for the dividers are pretty bad and they peel off. They do not have enough glue. I am going to need to get others for that. The cover is very sturdy and durable. I love the texture and the rose color. I wish it had a strap but I can always add that.
