Works well, and battery life is great
I bought this to replace a Greenworks pole saw I had been using. I had constant issues with the Greenworks chain falling off, and leaking bar oil. This was a lower cost option, and I thought I would give the brand a try. First, the engineering is much better on this saw. To extend, you just loosen then pull out the pole for more length. Second, the chainsaw did great cutting down branches, no issues at all with the 3-5 inch limbs I was cutting. Lastly, the battery life is impressive. After using it for over an hour (probably 15 branches), the battery only dropped one bar. I could have used it the rest of the day. This is the first time I have bought a Litheli product, but they appear to be well made.

Great product for the value
This product exceeded expectations. It has great balance, very good power, and the battery life was impressive. after 90 minutes straight cutting a fallen tree, the battery only used 25-30% of the full charge. I liked the adjustable head position to get in at awkward angles. The manual chain tensioner was easy to use and quick to adjust any slack. I only did this once in the 90 minutes of cutting time. The power and torque were impressive as well. It didn't get bogged down at all. I would say my only complaint would be the pole length adjustment didn't lock well. The pole would slip to a longer length while cutting. Otherwise, a great product for the price.

Functional & durable
This thing is a powerhouse, yet manageable enough for a woman with minimal upper arm strength! I love it !! My property has trees and shrubs all over it. I have been able to keep them trimmed well. This is my second year using it and it’s still going strong. I’ll likely buy a replacement chain but otherwise again, it’s still going strong!

Put chain on backwards. Works much better now!
Arrived in timely fashion. I read manual and watched video to assemble properly. Blade worked free from small pin slot to hold it in place. Had to reset once. Could have been disastrous if I tried to start. Otherwise easy to assemble. Battery fully charged in just one hour! r. (?) After I looked closer and turned the blades on the chain facing correctly, it did a good job. Likely works better on tree limb than large bush. A-OK! did not help. Cut through thinner growth. Haven't tried on anything larger yet. I already have a hedge trimmer. This was for more substantial matters.

Misleading description!
Inaccurate and misleading description regarding the weight of this tool which states: ”Weighing merely 8.3 lbs, this pole saw significantly reduces user fatigue” WHAT?!? - that 8.3 is without the battery which is about 2 lb in addition, which makes over 10 lb. together. But consider to lift only 8 lb on 10 feet long pole will makes the weight much heavier, because most of the motor and chain weight of over 8lb is hanging on the far end of that pole, and then you need to balance and maneuver the cutting resistance - you need to be professional heavy weight lifter to have the muscles and fun cutting number of tree branches with this tool. If the heavy motor was on the lower part by the battery there will be much less weight to lift. So, I asked AI to explain and calculate for me that equivalent equation of this extended weight difference. AI calculated for me that by lifting 8 lb on 10 feet long pole your muscles feel as if you are lifting about - if not more than 32 lb. - considering additional cutting and angle balancing resistance. If you reduce the pole to 8 feet you may have slightly less weight, but still you have a lot to lift and maneuver on upward extended arms. I am better off to take a ladder and using short hand chainsaw, because of less possibility to have chain locked in twisted half cut tree branch, which can easy happen with long pole chainsaw and ruin your chain and you day. Ask AI: How heavy does 8 lb on a 10-foot pole feel? AI - answer: Holding a 8 lb weight on a 10-foot extension feels much heavier than holding a 8 lb weight directly. The rotational force, or torque, is what makes it feel so heavy. Calculate the force your muscles must applyTo hold the pole steady, the torque generated by your muscles must equal the torque from the weight. \(Torque_{muscle}=Torque_{weight}\)\(Force_{muscle}\times L_{muscle}=Force_{weight}\times L_{pole}\)\(Force_{muscle}\times 0.167\ ft=8\ lb\times 10\ ft\)\(Force_{muscle}=(8\ lb\times 10\ ft)/0.167\ ft\)\(Force_{muscle}=80\ ft-lb/0.167\ ft\)\(Force_{muscle}\approx 479\ lb\)Your muscles must apply nearly 479 lb. of force to counteract the torque from the 8 lb. weight on the 10-foot pole. Calculating the approximate weight lifted To estimate the weight an applied force of 479 lb can lift, you can reverse-engineer the leverage ratio. A common estimate for third-class levers in the arms is that the muscle force is about 15 times the lifted weight. Start with the muscle force: 479 lb. Divide by the leverage ratio: \(479\text{\ lb}/15\approx 32\text{\ lb}\) Therefore, a person applying nearly 479 lb. of muscle force in a movement like a bicep curl could only lift an object weighing roughly 32 pounds. The exact amount would depend on the specific joint angle, limb length, and speed of the movement.

Wow!
I am blown away thing ate everything I threw at it and still had 3 bars of battery! Easy to operate and the adjustability on the head is a nice touch. Really good quality machine great value for the price! Easy to carry around as it is very light for a saw of this power I am happy!

Customer service
I had a small piece break on my saw the first week of use. The tightening bolt for the chain. Customer service was wonderful in communication of this issue and replaced the saw. Vivian was the contact with the company. The saw is easy to use, lightweight, and has great power. I look forward to using in the future. Being a 67 year old female, friends and family are not exactly happy with me, but as far as yard work goes, I am enjoying it!

Kind of heavy
Nice compact saw, but a bit heavy when you extend to reach higher branches and sometimes the chain comes off which is annoying. But bushes it cuts through well.

The charge lasts a long time and saw cuts really well. Better than I expected. Paid for itself from the money I saved trimming trees myself.

**IMPORTANT*** YOU MUST SOAK THE BAR AND CHAIN IN "BAR AND CHAIN OIL" OVERNIGHT BEFORE ASSEMBLING THE CHAINSAW. YOU MUST ALSO PUT SOME OIL IN THE OIL TANK. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT BRAND JUST AS LONG AS IT IS "BAR AND CHAIN OIL". We are so happy we finally bought a chainsaw. Our 35+ year old Bing Cherry tree needed pruning desperately as it was intruding into the neighbour's aerial space and, it provided the means for squirrels to easily get on top of the roof. This easily cut through branches of varying diameters, from 2-5 inches thick. We also pruned our 38 year old peculiar shaped evergreen. This was more difficult as the branches were not smooth and the wood was much harder and thicker. Luckily, this chainsaw works well. We saved ourselves $1000 by not having to hire an arborist.

I was looking for long poll tree trimmer that was easy to handle, I read the reviews and decided to order. Followed the assembly instructions and once the battery was charged it worked amazingly. Started with small branches but it easily cut 6 inch branches. I forgot to order chain oil but thankfully my husband had some. I would highly recommend this product, I’m very satisfied
