2XU Men's MCS Run Compression Shorts

I decided to try these after sticking with CWX shorts for many years. I was impressed with the light weight, much lighter than the CWX, but only time will tell if they hold up to wear & tear as much.They are a lot cooler yet offer great support. I've only gone as far as 10 miles, so far, once marathons open up again I'll try them at longer distances & find out how they hold up to use. However, from what I've seen so far I'd buy them again.

I got the medium size and the fit was great, I am 5'9" 150 lbs. Went for an hour run in very hot weather and the shorts felt great for about 30 minutes. Once I got really hot and sweaty though, I began to notice some rubbing where the seams meet in the crotch area. Before I was finished, I was majorly chafed and it has lasted for a while. I loved the compression feel of the shorts and if the seams do not bother you, I would highly recommend these, but for me they just will not work and I returned the shorts. I could probably wear something under them to mitigate the problem, but that defeats the purpose of the shorts to me. I was really bummed they didn't work out.

I use these for ice hockey and for working out. Have noticed significant relief from build up of lactic acid in my muscles since starting to wear these. Highly recommend them to any athlete. Recovery is so much quicker. Less need of rolling out my muscles with a roller bar. Fit is snug, as they should be. Not restricting in any way. I have used 2XU brand for many years and have only had one seam fray after a couple of years, otherwise they hold up really well. I also use the pants and tops with same positive results.

I wish I bought compression shorts like these sooner. I run Ironman races and marathons. I recently started having an issue with chafing so I looked to these as a solution. Did a 25 mile run in these shortly after I got them. With a little Chamois Butt’R and these shorts I had zero chaffing afterwards. Less muscle fatigue too due to the compression- noticeable improvement in times. Expensive, yes (4 stars only due to price). Buy em anyway. They’ll change your run.

The product is great as far as the description and what it does For helping your muscles while you walk run bike whatever. the only problem is there’s no pouch in the front for the men. even though they are mens shorts, it’s completely flat in front like women’s shorts and presses certain parts of a man. And makes it very uncomfortable. I thought there would be some sort of pouch like 99% of all men’s underwear or compression shorts to make it more comfortable. My husband said they were extremely uncomfortable in the private area and we actually cut the crotch out and he’ll just wear his underwear over them because he couldn’t deal with the pain.

These are good compression shorts. I bought them due to a problem with my quad and the compression helped me to keep training/running.

These high end compression shorts are great. I use them to run and walk. I do have a problem with keeping waist up, but that may be on me.Had a problem with a seam in the inner thigh. Amazon has return policy. Will try another pair. Great product otherwise.

Amazing compression shorts! Multiple days of 9+ hours of running and no chafing. While Nike and UA make great 'compression shorts', they are not comparable products to these shorts from 2XU. I have shorts from all three brands and they are not even remotely the same product as these 2XU shorts.I used the fit guide on the 2XU site and these fit as expected, purchased a second pair and the fit was consistent.No quality compression shorts are cheap, but they are worth very little if they do not meet expectations. If I need to purchase an additional pair I will definitely be purchasing this same model from 2XUI am 5'9", 190lbs, size large is perfect for my long runs.

I switched to these a few weeks ago, after years of using baggy shorts, and they seem to reduce post-run leg muscle aches and pains–particularly if I keep them on for a few hours post run–so that means more miles sooner. I'm not convinced that the compression helps in any other way while running, but faster recovery means more miles sooner and so is good for improving performance.They seem to be well manufactured, but I think they're somewhat overpriced for what they are.

The 2XU compression running shorts seemed initially very good quality and well made. That is until I discovered the stitching gave out two days after the Amazon returns period closed 😩Overall, I was very happy with my pair and wore them about once a week on average for a run or cardio session. They became my preferred running pair in the four or five pairs I had in rotation.And then, stitching failure related trashed: Picking them up to fold them up this last weekend I noticed the stitching in the crotch had given way to leave a 4cm ish gap where two panels had come apart. In searching to flag the defect and discuss getting it repaired/replaced I noticed the returns period had ended two days before (sigh) so I’m leaving a review instead.I’m happy to discuss replacement due to defect if there is an Avenue to do so (please reach out benevolent Amazon overlords) but if your a customer keep an eye on the seems and when your return period ends!If you want to give them a go — and to be clear they were initially great — check out the size guide closely. I followed the size guide and they fit a little tighter than my other pairs of compression shorts — but that’s the point right?Unless you’re after a very snug fit I’d recommend potentially going up a size if you’re on the edge of sizing and in possession of muscled thighs like mine.That’s my 2c anyway.For clarity: mr Amazon man, hit me up with defect options and let’s put a bit more of a positive spin on this review 🙂

IL prodotto è sicuramente di buona qualità. ottimo tessuto cuciture, struttura. Un po difficile per me azzeccare la taglia. 1.75m per 69/70 kg, ho una M per la Xbionic, di questi ho provato una S ed una M secondo la tabella ed i consigli del produttore, ma li trovo estrememente stretti confrontati con gli altri e li ho restituiti. Magari è solo una mia sensazione. la qualità comunque non è in discussione.

Da quando ho conosciuto il marchio 2XU non riesco a farne meno,rispetto ad un modello che avevo già, questi non hanno il laccio in vita, ma hanno la comoda tasca con cerniera posteriormente

Fits perfectly. Happy with the product. Would recommend it. Bought it for my son who is very active and have been using compression shorts for a few years now and these are one of the best he's tried yet. They are very comfortable.
