For background info, I am a 31 year old woman with an Anxiety Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder. My depression symptoms are minimal and manageable for the most part, but my anxiety symptoms are disruptive to my life on the regular. I have tried various anti-depressants and was never really wowed with results and felt like the side effects just weren't worth it at all. I began researching natural alternatives and supplements. I previously tried the 5-HTP from Arazo Nutrition. I felt like that helped with sleep but I didn't really notice any changes with mood/appetite. Also I felt like if I took it on an empty stomach I became very nauseous. I eventually stopped taking it due to the underwhelming results but wondered if I switched brands would it help.I then decided to try Naturewise, as it was reasonably priced and had many, many good reviews. I have been taking this product consistently for over a month now in conjunction with 1950 mg of Ashwagandha and I definitely am noticing that I feel better. I have not noticed any side effects. My anxiety is much more manageable and I have notably fewer mood swings. I have more energy and more of an uplifted mood. I definitely sleep very soundly on this product as well. I haven't noticed any crazy reduction in appetite, but that wasn't really one of my goals in taking this product.Full disclosure, I am receiving my next bottle of this supplement for free but I was not required to write a review in order to do so. Additionally, I would not have inquired about receiving a free bottle if I didn't think the product was working or worth my while. Think about it- why would someone want a free bottle of something that doesn't work or is harmful?I encourage everyone to do their own research and keep in mind that everyone is different and may react differently to medications/supplements. It is important to find a healthcare routine that works for you individually and of course speak to your doctor regarding any changes you are making.Really happy to finally be feeling a little better and know that I'm not putting questionably harmful substances with scary side effects in my body in order to do so.

I currently have taken this for little over a week or so, and I must say I'm happy with this. I'm not sure if this is actually helping me out with it's supposed "anti-depressant" effects it naturals produces, but there are 3 major reasons why I like this product;#1 - It's pretty good at making me tired. It doesn't give me a the feeling like I've drank half a bottle of NyQuil, but rather it makes my eye lids a bit heavier and seems to tell my body gently it's time for bed.#2 - I've had my sleep schedule messed up for several months now and would literally wake up at horrible times. Sleeping up to 10 hours at times and never being able to wake up early when I needed to. After about a week now, I take one at 9pm and feel like going to bed at 10pm, while being able to wake up at 7am. Though I feel do feel groggy when I wake up, but I've always woken up groggy when it comes to the early morning and never been great at getting up early so I don't blame the supplement for that.#3 - I have a lot more dreams now than ever before. I use to have the occasional dream here or there, maybe once a month or even more. Now after the last 3-4 days of taking it for a week, I have been able to remember my dreams and can remember them with a good amount of clarity. That's something I've never gotten to experience before and that to me is what makes me really happy.Please note: This is not a major aid if you suffer from moderate insomnia and may not help with your depression if that's what you're seeking this out for. For some people, this may really help out their depression. For others like me, it doesn't seem to really putting any kind of joy into my step each day, but I want to give it more time and see if this is true or not. It really has helped me with my sleeping problems and it may help you too. Buy a bottle and give it a good week or two and see if it helps. If it doesn't, there's always other brands or visiting your doctor.

I have only been taking these for a week now to help keep my mood up and my negative thoughts down. So far it has been an effective product overall. I noticed that I am less self critical and usually in a lighter mood where as before I would be so serious about life and each and every action I made. For me it almost acts as a barrier to my negative thoughts and helps keep a general positive outlook on present life. I suffer from certain anxieties as it is usually always synonymous with depression. This product has helped fight off some of these conditions which can be crippling to our lives.There were a few side effects which were not major except one. The loss of appetite is probably the most concerning for me. After having a capsule I find myself either not wanting to eat or the food sitting very uncomfortably after having eaten. My eyes do get a little blurry/drowsy which from some reviews I have read it helps put people to sleep as well. I experienced very bad nausea my third day after breakfast and it turned out to be lack of hygiene so please drink plenty of water (which you should be doing anyway for your body) to avoid this very bad experience.Overall, I would recommend this product and all of the negative side effects are clearly stated on the bottle so they are not really gripes but just how I experienced them personally. I will continue to take this product as I have hope in what it is capable of and how it has helped me so far.
