Thank goodness for Oregon's Wild Harvest Fenugreek!!! It has saved my supply. My 9 month old is EBF and went on a nursing strike as his new tooth came in. I couldn't get my supply back up! I've had stomach pain for years now on & off when life gets extremely stressful & loving spicy & acidic foods/drinks doesn't help. I switch between pumping while at work and nursing at home. Around 9 months I was STRUGGLING to pump enough milk to cover my baby's feedings while I was at work. For me, I tried over 40 different foods or herbs for increasing milk production when it was low. This one, done in the following way, was what consistently seemed to increase milk to where I have an oversupply now and have stopped it. Start at 1 cap, 3x/day. Increase to up to 4 caps, 4x/day. You know when you've done enough when you start smelling like maple syrup... it's like my armpits smelled like ihop one day and i did it about a week longer before slowly decreasing back down till I was off of it (they say on blogs you can stop cold turkey, but i didn't want to risk losing my supply). The ingredients and product is high quality so don’t want to ignore that, but every body is different and for me I gained a couple pounds in a week so I stopped immediately. You always have to be careful with these types of vitamins when they affect hormones. But upside my sweat smelled like maple syrup lol.
