AchlaDesigns Wrought Iron Decorative Scroll Border Fence Section

I ordered two of these for the front corner of my yard, which is "dog-central". I knew my just-planted ferns couldn't survive ALL the neighborhood canines' marking, and also that my usual flimsy wire trellis would be insufficient on that corner. So I splurged for two of these fence sections, and they work well. Very sturdy, deep into my clay soil, and attractive, too. They have a "leaf" at the end of the top center scrolls which I don't personally care for, but those could be sawed off (and repainted) if need be. Judging from the baby plants' health, these borders seem to be keeping the dogs out - I don't know if the borders are sufficiently anti-dog, or if they signal to the dogwalkers that this corner is trying to protect itself! Bonus - these borders are keeping the mulch IN, too. At a more affordable price point, I would order several dozen to line my entire front walkway.

These are so expensive!! But they are SO beautiful and last forever!! I have had them for over15 years and they are still in great condition. I bought more this year to outline my stamped concrete patio. They add such an elegant touch to my gardens! highly recommend!

Better than expected and very sturdy. What I like about the design is that it is unobtrusive and you can see the garden instead of the fence. I bought it primarily to keep our two dogs from getting excited about a squirrel and racing through the gardens. It works!The individual spans lock together easily but I placed them about 10" apart which gives an even more unobtrusive view and still deters the pooch.

I've been purchasing these for over 2 years now. At first I just wanted to fence of one little section from my dog. Then another. Then another lol. I have been very impressed with how they have held up in hot sunny conditions and then freezing rain and ice and some snow. They still look great and work super well. Very classy. You won't be disappointed.

I used a couple of these to deter my large dog from entering a flower bed. Works well. Is very attractive. Birds like to perch on them while waiting their turn at the birdbath.
