Everything's growing
I got these mainly for the Gladiolas I’m in zone six. I planted in mid June. The Gladiolas, Calla, and small lilies are in containers so I can pull them in the garage for wintering. The other bulbs are in the ground. It says to open them up as soon as you get them and store in a cool, dark place if you’re not gonna plant right away… I had them in the Amazon package probably a week, then I had them on a staircase to the basement and I didn’t realize that the cat door was allowing light directly on them and they were still in there clear packaging (my intention was to plant right away, but life happened)… so some started growing… these poor bulbs by the time I got them in the ground they were growing in circles around their bulbs, and I wasn’t sure if any of them were gonna make it, which would’ve 100% been my fault because I didn’t follow the simple instructions. Everything is growing even things I thought weren’t growing or going to make it. The ones that were growing sideways or around the ball. I did my best to gently straighten them without breaking them and place the bulb in the best position I could, and I had put some mulch and leaf debris on top just to shade it a bit and give it some time to prepare for the real sun, then slowly pulled that back. Everything straightened out so nicely. I need to put a reminder on my calendar to come back and update with a picture, but out of everything there may be three bulbs that won’t make it this year no telling if they go ahead and sprout next year. The little lilies I put in my leftover plastic planting containers and buried those in a larger planter with the intention of pulling those out at the end of the season, and and winter storing them, and then being able to drop them back into the larger planter next year… it’s past the season for those so I didn’t expect them to come up at all and I went out yesterday and I saw at least six green sprouts. I’m so excited to see them as I’ve never seen that type lily before. Very happy with these bulbs.

Not one bulb grew.
Some of them were moldy when they arrived. I planted the ones that hadn't gone off and not one bulb has sprouted. Perhaps they need a winter. I'll update this next year if anything comes up.

I will buy again!
This is my first review EVER! I'm over all happy with what has come up so far. The cala lillies are wonderful! All but one bloomed. The stargazer lillies all sprouted and are just starting to pop open! They have big blooms, but small stems, so they are super top heavy. Still waiting on some others to bud out and bloom. (could be planting error) I'm Still waiting on the gladiolus to bud and bloom, so far good stalk. I'm sad the harlequin bulbs haven't come up yet. All the bulbs were in great condition tho, and I was super surprised with this purchase. Note to self... don't let them sit in the box for too long but will be buying again!

Every Bulb came through!!!
I ordered these to plant with my family I didn't realize there would be so many lol but it's fine. They came in separate "bags" with labels and every single one I planted came up and are thriving. The stalks of the plants are strong and vibrant and very green. I planted them where an old maple tree that I took down was and they had no problems coming through the dirt/wood chips. I'll definitely buy these again next year to plant again 😀😀

Save your money
Sept 2024-UPDATE: I still stand behind my original review. Many of the items NEVER sprouted, which was a waste of money. But, this year, the oriental lilies that DID sprout the first year, came in strong and tall, the majority of them were orange, and I had 2 new yellow ones come up this year, but there were no red, which was part of the 'assorted' promised colors. Because I always use fertilizer on the bed they are planted in once the first real frost hits and I let the plants die back naturally, which allows the bulbs to get nutrition for the following blooming season, I think the bulbs are healthier now. I have seen some new corms/bulbs forming around them as well, so they WILL naturalize. I think that in the case of the Asiatic Lilies, they require a year or two before they really perform, so, as an impatient gardener, I've learned to just look at the long game. Fertilize and weed and hope that next season the efforts will be rewarded. If you're looking for instant gratification when you get these in the ground, you need to temper your expectations and be patient so that the ones that DO actually sprout will eventually begin to provide the healthy, colorful results we all want. I purchased 2 of these sets of bulbs since it said they were for a beginning gardener and easy to grow. Well, I put that to the test and they failed to impress me. On the one hand, the Asiatic lilies sprouted and bloomed, but for being 'assorted' they all bloomed orange, so, so much for variety. The gladiolus have been slow to sprout, and of all the bulbs that were planted, 19 have sprouted and I am hoping that they will bloom. Half of the stargazers sprouted but half of those do not have flower heads appearing. The calas sprouted up to about 2" tall and then went brown and died. The most bulbs that I received were the Harlequin flowers which were roughly the size of cherry pips and all of them were dried out and weighed nothing at all. I decided that perhaps that was the way they were supposed to come, so I planted them all in two planters in potting soil with plant food and waited. Nothing. Out of 80 bulbs, ZERO sprouted. Also, be aware that these bulbs do NOT come with any sort of planting instructions, so I went on line and looked up each variety to get the planting instructions on how deep to plant them, how far apart to space them, the sunlight they needed and watering. Seriously, just save your money. I feel like I've been completely ripped off.
