Love this shoe!
During my first run with the TT 7.0 I realized what an awesome shoe Zoot has made. This is my second time using Zoot with my first pair being the Race 2.0 that I used for triathlons a few years back. I gotta say that the 7.0 is something of a running utopia. The fit is so nice that I did not need to crank down the elastic laces, it just felt snug with a little tug the shoe just surrounded my foot nicely yet firm. When I first started off I could feel the improved toe box and sole with plenty of flex but just enough absorption at toe-off that I could feel a nice spring in my step. The heel of the shoe also fits me perfectly and does not slip at all. After completing my run, I did not have some of the fatigue and soreness that I typically feel in my arch so the support in the shoe is perfect and I also credit Zoot's proprietary Z-bounce midsole design. I look forward to putting many miles in with this shoe and I'm sure other runners and triathletes will too.

Excellent Triathlon Shoe IF you get the Right size
When asked in this review if the product fits as expected, I answered yes but that's only because I knew ahead of time to order a full size above my normal shoe size. Normally I only do that for my marathon/long distance training shoes so I get the toe space required, but for this shoe you need to do that regardless of your intended use. It's just an incredibly snug fit. With a full size above normal, the fit is in fact still snug, but in a good way. As far as how the shoe feels while running, for me it's perfect. As good as my old Pearl Izumi EM Tri 1s which are now unfortunately discontinued (prompting me to go back to Zoot, which I had not used in nearly 8 years). The shoe feels really fast and is also very light (for me, an essential quality, and frankly an incredible bargain at the asking price. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because it is definitely NOT the easiest shoe to slip on in transition, especially (ironically for a tri shoe) when barefoot. Not a huge deal for me since I tend to do the longer-distance triathlons where a few extra seconds in transition won't make much difference, but could be more of an issue for sprints. Anyway, with the demise of Pearl Izumi running shoes, I am back to Zoot as my go-to brand.

Good shoe good price
Good shoe not a lot of over cushioning. Gives that bare foot feel. Size is just a bit large i where size 11 B width and took everyones advice and went with 11 1/2 not overly large. Size 11 would have probably been a little too snug. I have a lot of trouble with heel pain and this shoe is the best i've found so far that doesn't agravate my heels.

Clunky so far
I am still hopeful that these shoes will break in and feel better. Seems like a good quality running shoes but they feel like boards tied to my feet compared to my Saucony Freedoms. Time will tell. I've only got a few miles on the Zoots so far.

great shoe for sockless racing
I bought these to wear without socks in the run leg of sprint triathlons (to save transition time). They are great for that. My training shoes are Asics GT2000 series in size 13 with a D (medium) width, so I bought the Zoot ultra TT 7.0 also in a 13(D). They are slightly more snug than my asics, but perfectly sized for going sockless (I could probably wear a thin sock if I wanted to). They are very comfortable and i was able to cinch them down without creating any wrinkles to rub my feet. The shoe feels like a sock on the inside. I did a sprint tri with them today and they worked great. The only trouble I had was it was a little trouble to get them on. I will use Glide the next time I race and that should solve it. I would get them again and I recommend them highly.

somehow snug but great running shoe
i just weight 150 lbs and a beginner in running, this shoe is just a little snug and I have a skinny feet so try it before buying it plus is set to be used sock less so that is another reason to try it before buying it. they have a balance on cushion and stability that works very well for me. they are not as Cushioned as the Kalani 3.0 but it works. and do they look good...

Great shoe, watch the sizing though.
The shoes are great! They’ve been on a few runs so far and have done well and felt good on my feet. The only thing you need to watch is the sizing. I normally wear a 12 and ordered a 14 (because a 13 or 13.5 wasn’t available) but the 14 actually fits pretty good. I think a 13.5 would fit me perfect in this shoe.

Definately order a size bigger if u plan on wearing socks
These shoes are comfortable, I switched from a new balance free running/barefoot shoe. Mostly because I don't run enough and I'm trying to start running further. These are easy to put on, and hold your feet well. I haven't had to tighten them, they just wrap your feet well. Changing to a regular running style has helped a lot, and keeps from burning me out so fast. I usually have pain in my knee and hip if I run mid heel, but the cushioning has helped fight this. Defiantly worth the money!I wear a 9 and ordered 9 1/2. Without socks they are perfect but with socks still a bit snug at the end.
