Q: Why is volume so low even at 100%? TV volume when using blue-tooth doesn't go much high with this device.

Q: what is amplifier base? What does it do other than recharge buds?

It is a holder to store and charge the buds. In addition it holds a charge that allows you to recharge the buds up to 4X without plugging into power.

I’ve used mine quite a bit. I haven’t had one problem yet. I love that there is an app you can download and turn up each side separately. It also has different modes like noisy… restaurant to concert … loud music.
