The fan that looks like a David but puts out air like a Goliath....!
I'm so not into to leaving reviews. Even though I read them avidly before making a purchase big or small. I'm just your average old chick that takes insulin & is going through menopause.Menopausal hot flashes combined with diabetic night sweats are now a torturous fact of life. I do not possess the vocabulary to express how much I detest waking up 2x to 5x a night soaked in a sweat that makes me & my bedclothes feel so gross! Ewww! The time and effort to keep my bed smelling like Gain & Downey is now unacceptable. So I got a fan. The fan died. I'm fan shopping. Again. In the meantime my family are human popsicles. Our power bill caused my heart to stutter. I was crazy desperate. I jumped on two of these white "large" room fans in the warehouse deals for $7 each. They arrived quickly in perfect condition. When I opened the boxes I actually laughed. They looked like toy fans. When I plugged them in I actually cried. They quietly put out air like a dream. I thought I heard Thororgood singing 'Bad to the Bone' when I realized that I was quite chilly when giving them a test drive! Talk about unexpected blessings in unexpected sizes! Oh yeah baby!Seriously...the Bible says in Romans 13:7 (CEV) "Pay all that you owe, whether it is taxes and fees or respect and honor.". So I just want to say thank you to the folks at Woozoo. Got nothing but respect for a great product that actually does exactly what you guys say it will do! It's tiny AND it's powerful. Best of all this old Mimi is sleeping the night through without exception and at a fraction of the cost. May the Lord bless you for blessing me and my family.

Great little fan *Update* No longer ocilates
This fan is quiet and i love the oscillation and the ability to move the head up and down manually. I couldn't tell you how many times i've had to put a book under my old fan so it would hit my face. No longer needed and i love it. There is no remote control on this fan so idk why they asked to rate the remote control. *Update: I loved this fan, worked for barely over a year and now the oscillating part does not work. Very disappointed by this as i enjoyed it while it did work, But not kinda pointless without the oscillating part.

Some good points, some just OK.
Take into account we are in Texas, but, then, also take into account that we are long-time purchasers of extra “fan power,” for rooms that face west and get the scorching afternoon sun. Even with a top-of-the line HVAC system and unless we want to live in a cave with all drapes drawn, a little fan is a huge help, some summers. This fan claims to reach 74 feet. Well, perhaps aimed straight down a 74 foot long hallway that’s only 3 feet wide, that works, but not what we found. The unit, placed in one corner of our home theatre room (18 x 18 feet square), had to be:1) Kept on medium or high setting20 Aimed directly at the people seatedin order to have any noticeable skin-cooling effect. But, again, this is Texas, so it takes a lot to make a difference in room temperature and comfort levels. So, for our purposes, this vortex effect was counter-productive and we never got the feeling that our whole room and its occupants would be cooler via the oscillation. But the usage was OK, if we just kept the unit in place, directed to the occupants of the room.We will keep the unit, because it’s whisper quiet (low and medium settings) and can be used in a much smaller guest bedroom to cool guests and will do so quietly. I may buy another for my office, but, just know that if you’re used to a ceiling fan or another oscillating fan with the power to actually chill your skin on the high setting, this fan may not give you that.I do see how a light sleeper—we have a relative who wakes up every time the HVAC turns on—could love the quietness of the unit and find it a godsend in a bedroom, instead of using AC quite as much, through the night.Just don’t expect a 74 foot “throw” of air forceful enough to make you comb your hair again, or to have to leash Tallulah, your chihuahua, so she won’t blow away.

Small but powerful
I had just returned a Vornado fan which did not work properly - and I never considered using another brand of fan. It provided great circulation but way to noisy. I thought I would try this even though I was not sure if a fan $30 less in cost would be as effective. I am very satisfied with the ability to circulate air almost as well as a more powerful fan. What surprised me was how quiet it was and at first thought it meant the circulation wouldn’t be strong enough - it is! I wanted an air circulator instead of a fan because fans blow air on you but the air circulator creates air flow around me! I recommend it!!!!

Ignore the HYPE
I live in the Northeast part of the country and summers are brutal. With climate change, each summer becomes more and more challenging to endure.Since I live in a rental house that is nearly 100 years old, I am unable to install a window AC due to the poor condition of the sills and surrounds; thus, I rely on numerous fans to get me through the hellish months of June, July and August. As I said in the title-IGNORE THE HYPE. For the $50 I spent, I could have (happily) purchased 3 more of the very effective Dreo fans. Live and learn. Don't repeat MY mistake. This fan was so highly reviewed, it seemed foolish of me not to add it to my ever growing fan collection. Guess what? This fan is useless.I paid nearly $50 for this little, poorly made thing. If I have it right next to me, turned on the highest setting, it does not even ruffle my hair. On the lowest setting, it doesn't even appear to be functioning. After 2 months of trying to derive some benefit from this poorly designed, over priced piece of plastic, I put it out on the street with a sign that said-"Take this at your own risk." I got a cheap, Dreo brand fan out of storage and it has 1000% more power than this worthless WooZoo trash.Save your $$$. Do not buy!
