Received my packages on time & was surprised at how small the boxes were—ordered 3 of the 20 pack ones. I appreciated that the boxes were properly labeled, but I honestly doubt the delivery man pay attention to these things so I was scared to open the boxes initially as I anticipated it’d be a mess inside. To my surprise, everything was in its place due to the wonderful packaging they did that prevented much movement and provided lots of protection. After removing all the kraft paper, the succulents were all intact except for a loose piece which was fine. It also came with a useful card stock that had contact info and plant care tips! Planning to use this as favors for my baby shower in less than 2 months so I hope they’ll hold up! :) May update my review then!

I'm very pleased with my purchase of 6 little succulents! They were delivered in perfect condition. Very nice assortment and colors. Very healthy, too. The price is excellent at 11.99 currently. Very good buy!I'm really looking forward to to buying more. I am a gardener, and have lots of other plants, but I wanted to make some beautiful succulent bowls as a new hobby.I will continue to buy from this seller.Very happy!UPDATE: I've ordered 3 sets of 6 assorted succulents. The first set are thriving. Second set are waiting to be planted and in great shape and today's delivery same.This seller consistently has sent healthy beautiful plants packaged very well. This is my 5th order from Altman and I am addicted to their services and plants! This time I got the 20 succulent bundle so I could share half with my nephew. I waited all day on the couch ringing my hands…as many of the plant lovers I know can relate…finally the UPS guy triggered the ring doorbell and I ran to grab the box off the stoop.Then, dragging out the anticipation I made a cup of espresso and got the scissors. I opened the box and rejoiced! These succulents did not disappoint! Altman never has! I unpacked them and video taped them getting a rain shower for my nephew (a horticulturist at Bayer) he’s coming over Sunday to get his half. And now you know why I am the best Aunt in the plant world! Thank you so much once again!

When I received my 20 pack of succulents from this seller, I was so pleasantly surprised! They are packaged for shipping in a terrific way so there is no damage. The product itself far exceeded my expectations. I received a nice variety, at least 5 different ones, in beautiful condition. I cannot wait to plant them. Healthy, vibrant plants waiting to get growing. Buy these! The price is right, the variety is nice, the plants are awesome. I would definitely purchase these again!

The plants are very healthy, BUT the selection isn’t always good. My first order, the plants were different colors and types, the second time I ordered, NO variation in color and half of the plants were the same, in fact 18 out of 20 belonged to the same family.

We just received our order and I'm very happy! The plants were packaged very well with brown paper and also brown paper crinkle strips holding them in place. There was no dirt falling all over in the box or anything. I just tried taking one of them out of the box and it appears that they are traveling with a bit of compacted dirt around the root balls. Beautiful plants! The colors are great! They all appear to be very well taken care of, sturdy, little plants. I am very happy with them. Of course one could always want more variety in a variety pack but I think what they have sent me will look stunning around the main plant that I have that will be put in the middle of the pot. The plants were also received in a very timely manner. I will gently plant them tomorrow and if there is any change in the plants I will update my review. For right now I think they are beautiful plants and I'm so glad I chose Altman as the seller!

Absolutely great value and variety. Very happy with my purchase. I bought (2) 20-packs for Baby Shower gifts. I wanted something that people wouldn't throw away as soon as they got home. They were boxed really well with short pieces of brown paper that were folded zig-zag, like old fashion crinkle fries. I had to use my jewelry pliars to remove the 1st few from the box - because as you can see there was no space between to grab with your fingers. The potting soil is a real fine texture so all of the leaves had a light powdering of soil on their leaves. I first tried using a Q-tip to brush off the soil but found out fairly quickly that just blowing them worked better. Like when you blow out birthday candles on a cake - but a little bit harder. But close your eyes because the soil is so 'powder like' it will blow back in your face & eyes. After I got all the leaves clean I tamped down the soil as best I could. Then I put them in an old metal baking pan to water them. I filled them up to the top of the plastic container twice, then let them sit in pan a few minutes to soak up water from the bottom of the pots. Afterwards I lined a cardboard tray with plastic wrap, then 3 layers of paper towels and transferred them from the baking pan to the cardboard trays. After about half an hour I changed out the paper towels because they were wet. Instructions say to wait until they are completely dry before watering so will not be watering again before I give them away. I bought cardboard gift boxes specially designed for 2" pots (Succulent Wraps by Nithicon). They are sort of like doing origami. Note - corners fold OUT, not IN. The guest list is 30 so happy to say there will be "left over" plants : )
