Olababy 100% Silicone Soft-Tip Training Spoon for Baby Led Weaning 2pack

We love these for baby led weaning. Our twins have been using these for almost two months now, since the were 6.5 months old. They're easy for us to scoop stuff up and easy for them to hold. They wash up nicely. The only thing I would say is the lilac color starts to look like a necrotizing finger after a while. The coral still looks right, but that lilac does not stay lilac haha.

We decided to pitch this spoon for our baby’s first feeding because of what we read and it delivered everything in the description. I’ll just add that my baby is 5 1/2 months old and he was able to use the spoon to feed himself (amazing) which is great for developing his hand eye coordination. The spoon is soft but sturdy and yet very bendable, the handle of the spoon has an interesting texture appeasing to baby’s grip and their gums for tethers. For the parents: it was very easy to get all the food up from small spaces/corners and when using a flat surface definitely worth the money! I will be buying more. I also like the fact that the spoons came with two shades of green, and that it is not too big or too small. It’s like the perfect size for both baby and an adult

These are the BEST baby spoons we’ve ever bought/used. My daughter loves food but when it comes to using a spoon she tends to only chew on them, bang/shake them around cause why not lol, or throw them on the floor! I’ve tried showing her how to use a sooon but for some reason she didn’t want to do it or was just not in the mood. Yesterday I was trying to feed her breakfast with the soon and I decided to see if she would like to try out the spoon for a change. Omg she took the spoon herself (with the food already on it) and fed herself! To say I was shocked and super happy is the understatement of the year. Now, to work on using the spoon to scoop/pick up food lol. She’s actually trying to learn it with me now. I don’t know why but these spoons truly are the best. They bend in a very easy way and get everything on the spoon. I like the grip of them and the fact that she can teeth on them as well without ripping it apart (hasn’t happened...yet)! I think the reason she was able to use the spoon to feed herself is not only due to bendiness of it, but the grip! It’s also thicker than most spoons making it easier for her to use. Overall, I wish I could give ten stars. I am currently buying another set. My onlyyyyyy complaints are the color (wish it came in more color choices) and the price. I do find it a bit pricey but it works so well, so it is worth it. Just wish it wasn’t that price for them. Can’t wait to get more in the mail now!!

So I have bought four of these little spoons because my little one loves them so much. The colors are exactly as pictured. The green ones are very vibrant. They are perfectly sized for little ones to hold and for parents to feed with. They clean up easily. For the light colored ones I haven’t noticed any staining from things like pasta which is common with other products. These things have held up to her constant chewing. She teeth’s on them constantly and is just now learning how to scoop things with them herself to self feed. The only thing I don’t like about them is their ability to hold much is low. If you were going to feed soups or something I would recommend a deeper spoon. This spoon is perfect for purées, rice, nut butters, and other semi solids.

First I want to say that I like the packaging it came in. Too many items are difficult to open and have so much plastic waste. The only thing I would have changed about the packaging was to have the top sealed permanently with a perforation to tear and then unseal. That way I could ensure no one has opened it before me. I chose these spoons because I wanted something soft to prevent hurting the gums and bigger to prevent a choking hazard. I liked that it could also be used as a teether so I let my baby use it the day before we started feeding to get used to it. We just did our first feeding with purées and it worked very well. As you know children like to wiggle around and these spoons are so nice because there is no risk to accidentally hurting the baby while sneaking in bites of food. I took away one star as I wish the actual spoon part was less wide because it is hard to sneak those bites in while baby is getting used to the new flavors.

We were originally give this brand as a handmedown but my son loved them so much we had to buy more. They are lightweight, easy for little hands to hold, and perfect for yogurt. They are easy to clean and are dishwasher safe. The colors are cute. The shape is great for little hands. They aren’t great for thin liquids but are great with thicker purée and yogurt. Would absolutely buy again when needed.

I love them. My 5mo old loves to chew on them and is already trying to self feed.the design is perfect. The thickness, ease of hold, perfect size for small hands. I also like the green color. Other colors would be nice too.

This is a perfect size for little hands. I love how it is soft when she hits herself in the face with it and flexible when she jams it into her mouth. We used it for the first time today and it was just what we needed no training necessary. It fit her little mouth perfectly and she loved to slurp at it and hold it like a big girl. High recommended. I might pick up another set to have extra.

These training spoons are great. Our daughter finds them really easy to hold and loves chewing on them. As soon as she sees them she has to go to town chewing on them, so it's easy to sneak a little food on them. They have been washed a number of times now in the dishwasher and they still look like new. I have tasted food from these spoons and I can not report any rubbery taste. Our little one definetly approves of these spoons!

The Olababy training spoon is ideal for babies to learn to feed themselves -- it's a good length, flexible and even the end of the handle can hold a bit of food so there isn't really a "wrong" way to hold the spoon while baby is learning. The bonus is that it's also very easy to clean, even if you don't get to cleaning it right away.
