I saw a tool similar to this demonstrated and decided to research further. I discovered there were similar ones out there but the Bluebana product seemed sturdier and the markings were distinct and black against yellow is good contrast. It also had good reviews from customers so I ordered two, one for myself and one for my brother-in-law who does a lot of construction for his homes and rentals. The unit comes in a nice carry bag which is nice to protect it from tool box nicks and wear. The instructions are basic tips but there is a reference to a web site where you can got more ideas and demos.

got this for my friend who is a stone and tile contractor for doing a little bit of work for me at the house, where I had a chance to use it and see it working. its really helpful when you have to cut tricky custom angles...because the ruler locks down tight into place you can figure out your cut, lock it in and then make as many pieces in that shape as you need without having to mess around with paper templates and cutting them out. its nicely made of solid metal too so should stand up to the abuses of the workplace.

This was given as a present to a carpenter. He hadn't seen the ruler before and is very intrigued to see how it works with his current project - adding an addition to a house. The yellow color will help him keep track of it and he expects the metal to make it durable. I'll hear about it if not!However, he was skeptical about how practical the black velvet carry bag was. A nice bright yellow or orange resistant bag might make more sense. Impressive presentation as a present, but perhaps not the most useful on a job site.

I really enjoyed receiving this as a gift. I am a "Jack Of All Trades, Master Of None." So I am always doing something around the house. This angle finder I know will be great for flooring as well as deck work. Just in those two jobs it pays for itself and I know I have not even scratched the surface of what it can do.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son. He told me the only thing wrong with it was he needed it about a month before, as he had just finished up a job. Guess he'll appreciate it more on the next job. He does like it.

This product was probably not built to the quality that the inventor hoped for. Half of the finger nuts don't tighten well enough to lock it into position. I put in shims to try and tighten it up, but it is still pretty disappointing. I still use it occasionally, but it is now in two pieces (using the two better nuts) and I have to be very careful with it to keep the angle from shifting.

Angularizer is very well built. Strong aluminum rulers. Can easily lock in angles with metal knobs.Should last a while. It would have been better if the screw heads at the joints were recessed andflat with the rulers. With two layers of rulers already, extra height makes it harder to trace a shape.Other than that, this angularizer is a sturdy tool, which I recommend.

Tool is well made, easy to read and very accurate. I have only used the tool several times and it functioned very well. My only concern is how long the readings are applied to the surface of the sliding arms will remain readable, rather than not imprinted on the arms. That is an assumption for the future, but so far, it is GREAT!
