Love it! Runs our ac unit and fridge!Update 8 months later. Has started by the 2nd pull after sitting for 4 months. Runs all night no issues! Truly amazing for the price! And runs two big window units, big fridgerator & our tv, wifi box no issues at all!UPDATE! It’s now 2 years old and close to 120 hours on it and still going strong and starts first pull! Just purchase this gen over anything else! It has the name behind it and is proven reliable and powerful! I have ran 2 big window ac units and deep freezers all at once no issues!UPDATE 3!!! 07/13/20243 years later, we lost power for 7 days straight this little 3600 ran 2 window ac units, a fridgerator and lights, TV without a hiccup! This unit is currently running straight close to 200hours only shut it down one single time for an oil change and back on she ran! It’s a life saver! We will definitely be buying another as a backup due to the amount of wear and tear this one has endured without an issue!They are not designed to run constantly days on in but this thing has held together and supplied clean energy!When loaded near its max wattage expect major fuel usage from this little 212!!! Roughly an entire gallon per hour! But you keep fuel in her and she purs days on in! I run a little fan to help it stay cool near its generator that helps quite a bit!

My generator just showed up today - great price and prime shipping in just a few days. I got this to fill in for my same-sized diesel generator that needs repairs. I didn't want to get caught without a way to keep my house powered during one of our frequent outages. Keep in mind that this is a 120 volt ONLY generator, which is one of the reasons I bought it. I don't want to have to worry about balancing loads and all of that - plus, all of my appliances are 120 volt (the only thing I can't run is my washer and dryer) and my transfer switch is wired as 120 volt only. This generator's size is perfect to power my chest freezer, refrigerator, lighting, and well pump, which is all I really need to run. Also could power my TV and satellite, but I'm not too confident running those appliances on this unit. I could also run an electric space heater if necessary.This Westinghouse generator in no way compares in quality to my diesel generator, but out of the box, it looks well built and is user friendly. Since I already had wiring to my manual transfer switch, I wired a L5-30P plug to the existing wiring which plugs right into the Westinghouse. Added the oil, fueled it up, and it started with one pull. I flipped my transfer switch and let things run on generator power for about 1/2 hour. No problems, lights did not flicker, and the fridge and well pump ran just fine. The engine on the generator seems to run more smoothly with a constant load on it.Once my diesel generator is fixed, this will be perfect to use for remote job sites or maybe camping, or to loan to a neighbor if needed. It's relatively light weight (I think about 100 lb) and portable - I could easily put this in the trunk of my jetta wagon.If you're looking for an affordable back-up generator to power the necessities, this appears to be a good one.Update: my power went out the day my generator showed up. I ended up running my house on this generator for six hours. It didn’t miss a beat!

5 years of heavy use. Purchased July 2020. Has been the main power supply for off grid 800sq ft home in northern Michigan used year round. General maintenance oil changes and spark plugs. Still using original air filter that gets cleaned periodically part of general maintenance. Removed emissions canister result for 1 of the 5 or 6 no starts experienced over past 5 years. Replaced snapped recoil start 1x. Replaced spark plug boot 4x. Has been the most reliable, least fussy generator unit of the multiple units we have acquired. Decently fuel efficient for a fixed 3600rpm generator compared to others we have. Not inverter efficient but impressive for basic generator with running and peak wattage rated higher than most any competition in the same bracket/ballpark for a similar wattage sized unit. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a unit this size. $309 including tax and over 5 years of summer/winter year round heavy use, I honestly have zero complaints zero maintenance issues and am genuinely impressed it still starts on 1st or 2nd pull every time. **I wish this unit had an hour gauge, it would shock me and anybody else to know the actual run hours on my unit.
