Fit and worked like OEM

There are some good videos on YouTube for removing your old shifter knob and putting a new one on. The design is just poor to begin with. My shifter knob was always loose and the new one is no different. However I believe it's Ford design flaw. The good news is that this knob fit like the original and works as expected. I replaced mine because the chrome on the top was wearing off and getting everywhere.All that said to say, don't expect miracles. The knob is likely still going to be loose (turn side to side slightly), and in my case the bottom skirt of the shifter just never looked like it locked in completely, but it is. Button is smooth and works as it should.

My old one was sticking in park, problem solver. No more banging on the lever to get it to release. Oem look, and function. Best price.

For the money, it's a good product. But if you want a better quality, better feeling, better made replacement shift lever, buy OEM.

Went off of a YouTube video to make sure I done this right and I’ll be darned if there wasn’t a plastic burr that popped the spring up sideways in the shaft and messed it up bad and you can’t find the new spring, only way to get it out is to literally bust it open cause it’s cheap. The rod that the button has on the end of it are the spring.SELLER WONT RESPOND!! I’ve purchased 2 of these. The 2nd new one will not set still. It twist and every now and then will pop up. These things are junk. Save your time and your money and buy oem or any other seller besides this one. I can’t even get them to respond.

This is advertised F150 2004 to 2006. I searched for a 2007 to fit my truck. I could not find them so I bought this one. It fit perfectly.
