First, determine the resolution of the screen that will show the image of your backup camera. If it cannot resolve HD, ignore any camera that is 720p or 1080p. Next, consider practicality and ease of use. We first ordred a slightly more expensive camera that feature parking assistance lines that move along with the steering wheel, just like the sytems in newer cars. However, what seems like a great feature can turn into a nightmare if the moving lines are not truly in sync with the turning of the wheel. This presents a true safety hazard and defeats the purpose of adding or upgrading a rear view camera. What about this model from hard to pronounce Liebmaya: As I wrote simple IS often best. A perfect fit for our Audi trunk lid, the view is sufficiently wide. The 728 x 512 pixel resolution combined with a goods quality camera yields a quite good view. The camera has guides, as expected. Fortunately, they are straight to help depth perception and don’t attempt to turn with the car. If you are having issues with responsiveness or flickering, consider an inexpensive “Power Delay Timer” and seek out some videos of how to add it to your wiring.

Good little camera, complete kit, but docked a star because the angle is set a bit low and the guidelines are absolutely useless. Install went as expected. Dropped right into a MK6 Jetta Sedan. Cables were plenty long to attach wherever you want. Display picture is decent enough to be functional. My only complaint is how downward facing the camera is and the extremely short nature of the guide lines. This does function perfectly with a RCD 880 Pro (RCD 330 level stereo's). No delay box was needed.

Check 1st photo: this trunk handle replacement looks as good as the original factory made handle! It is weather proofed with a rubber cover that has a good touching feel. The camera is wide angle, wider than what I have seen on other cars. This is why the bumper is slightly visible at the bottom (check 2nd photo). I actually like that, since it gives a known distance reference to potential obstacles. I had one initial problem during installation. I was unable to tap a clean 12V from the reverse light. The wires I taped were on the lower right side of the trunk, near the connector connecting the backup lights. It turns out (as indicated by Liebmaya excellent customer service) that these wires might in fact, transport Canbus data information, not a clean 12V. This is why I initially struggle to power-up the camera. The solution I found was to connect only the black ground cable to a metal bolt somewhere in the back and to connect the other end of the red wire in front, behind the Head Unit, to a clean 12V enabled at ignition. This obviously keeps the camera powered on while driving (no problem since it only uses about 50 milliAmps, or so). The screen switching is triggered through CanBus, so when the screen on my unit is changed to the back-up camera input, it finds the camera already powered on and active. Because the HU can already display not only a fixed ruler, but also the steering wheel movement indicating the direction of the car in reverse, I disabled the camera built-in ruler, by soldering the 2 thin green wires together. Me happy!

2 months installed, no issues so far. Camera is clear, and angle os great. Install is like OEM. Very good in low light conditions as well. If you have a thick license plate frame, you may need to look for another one though.

2012 Jetta Se The Good: Fits well, Easy install, Looks OEM The Bad: Angle is pointed towards ground to aggressively, additionally the image is not clear, guide lines are trivial at best. The light pinches license plates and causes to warp, I suggest drilling holds slightly above on. plate holder. Can tap into reverse light wire, splice, solder, and heat shrink wires for best results.

This thing does not work for my car even though it states it does. The wideo only appears twice now and I bought and installed it on Father's Day! I have a 2014 Passat with the stock head unit with backup cam capabilities.

**Install tip at bottom** Handle fits great on my 2009 audi a4 and provides a generous amount of wiring to insure you make it to your mmi. Image quality is great however I do have two things I don't like about the camera. 1. Night vision is poor at best could be because I'm running tinted reverse and tail lights but sometimes the camera is unusable at night **Tip below** 2. The digram/instructions didn't match the camera I seen on my system the 4 pin connector to the camera has no black box with a green wire between them rather a random white wire sticking out of the 4 pin connector instructions say to remove guidelines connect green wires I personally had to cut the white wire on the 4 pin connector to do this Overall great product Btw for b8 chassis audi owners works great with the wakaa display plug and play

This camera is good for it's price for sure. It's definitely cheaper than the other camera's here on Amazon and it does the job I'm looking for. When I was installing the camera it wants 100% transparent to me based on the diagram for the transmitter so I had to do a little research which wasn't a big deal can't be lazy with this stuff. Anyway's as shown in the illustration from the transmitter the blue wire goes with the "Camera" positive wire (Not the car positive wire), the black goes with the ground (negative) wire from the reverse light and the red goes with the positive wire from your reverse lights. if you follow that you should have no problem setting this up. Just be sure to identify your negative and positive on your reverse lights with a multimeter to make sure you are hooking the wires up right. If you do those steps right your camera should be up and running like a champ. This worked on my 2013 Volkswagen Passat SE.

Todo correcto, fácil de montar, encaja a la perfección. La única duda me la genera la durabilidad del pulsador pero ya se verá con el tiempo..

Ich habe die Kamera in meinen Tiguan 5N eingebaut, und bin sehr zufrieden. Die Öffnung der Heckklappe funktioniert einwandfrei und für den Preis ist die Verarbeitung wirklich gut. Der Öffner löst etwas lauter aus als der Originale, aber das stört überhaupt nicht. Die Montage war zwar aufwendig aber das liegt nicht an der Kamera, sondern daran dass man das Kabel bis zum Radio legen muss ;) Das Bild ist gut, auch im Dunkeln noch zu gebrauchen (der Tiguan hat 2 Rückfahrleuchten). Die Auflösung ist nicht wahnsinnig hoch, aber erfüllt ihren Zweck auch der Sichtwinkel ist wirklich ausreichend. Alles in allem eine sinnvolle Verbesserung beim Einparken oder Rangieren zu einem Anhänger. Das Kabel ist zweigeteilt, wird per Stecker verbunden, das erleichtert die Montage und das Durchziehen von Heckklappe zum Dach; zudem kann man durch Verbinden zweier kleiner Drähte die in der Kamera eingeblendeten Hilfslinien deaktivieren, wenn man wie bei mir die aktiven vom Radio nutzen möchte. Masse habe ich einfach an einer Schraube in der Hecklappe genommen, Plus kommt bei mir vom Radio, das hat einen steuerbaren 12V Ausgang, es ist ein kleiner Draht mit im Kabel eingezogen, den man vorne anschließen kann. Bei wem das nicht geht, der kann an den Rückfahrscheinwerfern Plus abnehmen, dazu ist dann wegen des CAN-Bus aber ein Signalfilter nötig, da man sonst flimmern im Bild hat.

So far working great on my Audi A4 B8 2009. Fits perfectly and definitely makes it look like an original reversing camera. Definitely worth the price
