No Problems - Just Plugged In The Cables - Everything Worked
Wasn't sure how reliable this option would be ..... but pleasantly surprised. Customer wanted to view live cams in a side office for night-staff, but the dvr was on a different floor in an equipment closet. Wanted to avoid a PC with additional software or browser configurations (meaning more potential complications). I was worried that mouse *and* video over one ethernet cable would be buggy....but everything was just plug and go.- - NOTEABLE FEATURES: Two (2) usb ports (flash drive and even wireless KB-Mouse combo are supposed to work fine) / Only 1 power connection needed (can be at either end) / And (of course) ....the best part is you only need to run 1 standard ethernet cable.- - - So far, this has literally been a straight-forward KVM"U" switch (a bonus available usb port to boot) that was simply plug-n-play but 100+ feet away from the box. For best video quality, use a CAT6 cable.

Great customer service from AVAccess.com!
I've been using this product without problems for a month now. But I'm writing a review not just because the product works nicely at a reasonable price. I also recommend them because I got some great customer service from AVAcccess's support team when I first purchased the item and had a problem getting it to work due to my remote device (a Reolink NVR) trying to output 4k video when this KVM only supports 1080p. The support team helped me fix that WITHIN HOURS of asking for help and got my setup working. Thank you AVAccess Support!

**Updated my review for the positive**
Purchased the HDEX80-KVM. Was dead on arrival. USB worked correctly, however video through the HDMI did not. Tried both Cat5e and Cat6 cable, with no difference. Both test cables were less than 6' long.I noticed that the build quality seems cheap, and the components are very light and unsubstantial feeling. Incidentally, the module also seemed to run hot. this makes me concerned that even if it did work correctly, it may not last. Looks like i'll be looking elsewhere.** Update 5/14/18**I spoke with a technician named Ryan, who contacted me hours after I sent an e-mail to tech support following the issues I had with the first module. He was extremely professional and quick to dispatch a second module which arrived a few days later. This one works! The USB seems to have little to no delay and the video at 1080P looks as good as though it were connected locally. I'm using cat6 cable at 50-ish feet with no problem. Also, the issue with the heat on the first module must have been due to the internal issue it had, as the working module does not have that issue.A couple of observations:1) This will not pass a HDMI CEC signal. This is a niche requirement, and it was not stated to have it... My fault for net checking.2) i would recommend applying the power to the Receiver module, as it seems to help with higher current draw USB devices. If you are using just a mouse and keyboard, then you should be fine connecting power on either end.Would recommend AV Access to anyone.

100% functional - Great product
I'm very impressed that it meets all of the functional requirements. First time, everything worked!Source: Mac Book Pro M2 with two USBC ports with cables for the 2 HDMI cables and the USB connectionNetwork: 82' Cat 7 cableReceiver:HDMI 1: HDMI to VGA converter with Audio connecting to a KVM switch which shows on a 1080p monitor. I was able to switch between devices and experience no problems reconnecting to the remote machine (unlike other KVM Extenders I've tried).HDMI 2: HDMI to VGA cable with audio connecting to a 1080p monitor. Video and sounds works great!USB1: Connects to KVM USB switch for remote keyboard/mouse operation. Zero Lag! Huge win!USB2: Connects to an iPhone for software development. My Mac & Xcode connected with no problems. No loss of connection for debugging code, etc.USB3: 2nd mouse.USB4: I tried both a Logitech webcam (audio/video) and a HyperX Solocast microphone and both worked without problems. The microphone's better sound quality persisted. I have yet to test using USB3 to connect to the microphone and the USB4 to the webcam (video only) and verify I can use both devices in a virtual meeting.I've used this setup for about 4 hours now. Everything worked - No lag. No issues reconnecting. No video flashing or loss of quality (that I can tell). I maxed out what this product says it could do and it performed.

Been using it for a year with no issues
I usually wait to give any reviews, and I've been using this for one year without any issues. I'd rank it up there with that group of things I've bought and had no regrets. Monitor works great.

Fantastic
Complete control over a gaming tower in a two story house, broadcasting across Cat6a between these adapters, supporting a portable 18" monitor, split keyboard, wireless/dongled mouse, and headphones plugged into the portable display! It just works!

almost, but not quite there...
The media could not be loaded. - build quality superb- easy to set up. plug n play- picture quality, some ok, some not so much- include mouse extender is awesome. i can control dvr functions at the register now, instead of running to back office. my only problem is picture quality is good on some and some others not so much. I'm not sure why camera 1 is very blurry(the other 2 not clear ones are not device fault. they are lower quality cameras). and the main problem is video feed likes to black out every 10 mins or so. which could be problematic when you really need to keep an eye or zoom in on something(which I've encountered). other than that it's pretty great but sadly i will have to return because of the black outs. (I've tried all their trouble shooting instructions from manual. only thing I'm wondering is if i can add power supply to both ends, instead of just one?...)

Good product
Good product. I thought the sending unit was missing a power supply but only the receiving end needs the power input. I only tested once after setting up but appears to work well.
