What a simple concept and great execution of a helpful product for people. The multiple attachment parts allows for proper fit of many types of vehicles. The large opening and funnel design make adding the replacement coolant and burping the system of air very simple. The open close valve is a much cleaner and safer to add coolant and provided a positive stop when your done filling. Since I have 3 Honda’s to deal with, this was the best $20 I could have spent.

Wanted to DIY and change the coolant on my Mazda so I got this funnel kit and it worked beautifully.It has plenty of adapters to work with many vehicles and it indeed locks into place with no leaks. You can easily squeeze the hoses and run the engine and see the air bubbles come out. It has a valve that you can close so you can remove it without making a mess too.Also it comes with a big cap that seals the funnel and doubles as a storage container for all your adapters as well as keeping the funnel clean for the next time you need to use it! It will pay for itself the first time you use it. Definitely worth it!

I own Chrysler products. Initially I had to sort a few components for the right fit. I am recalling that the part that extends from the coolant cap does not always seal well with the vehicle but I am using this on several cars. It stands solid but at times feels a little shaky due to the aforementioned seal. Overall, the design is good. I like the valve to start/stop coolant from from the reservoir. That part has not leaked nor has any of the other extension components to each other. The cap to the reservoir does not fit snugly but works well enough. It was also priced well.

The media could not be loaded. My son recommended this concept in our rad replacement on the jeep XJ. I rushed to Harbor Freight and regretfully bought the $40 version. It was super easy and functional. I disliked the plunger they provided and found it awkward and unnecessary. So, I searched Amazon and found this model with the turn valve. It arrived a few days after I returned the HF model. I tried it on my Silverado and found it much better than the HF model. However, the newer silverados don’t have a traditional rad cap. The reservoir isn’t just an overflow bottle. It appears the res is an active piece to recirculation of coolant. So, it appears the Res is the air bleeder, the overflow and the fill. With this, I’m not sure the bleeder kit I am reviewing is actually functional here. Regardless, I like the funnel, the valve and the connection to the res. I’d highly recommend it for the price.

Awesome funnel with a shut off valve. Used these for years. They can take a beating and don’t weaken when heated up by coolant.
