The product will not scan the PDF 417 from the back of an american drivers license and does not support continuous scanning as described on other pages. The manufacturer ignored emails and calls. Expected: documentation for the product I just bought to be present. Getting mad now.8. Eventually find “2D_Barcode_ScannerV1.0.docx” and open it9. Find page 19: Continuous mode10. Scan the code at the top righta. Result: no change in scanner behaviorb. Expected: light turns on and stays on so that codes placed below the scanner are scanned automatically11. Find another instruction manual in the support site containing a code that looks helpful.12. Scan this codea. Result: no change in scanner behaviorb. Expected: light turns on and stays on so that codes placed below the scanner are scanned automaticallyBut worst of all:13. Hold an American drivers license under the scanner so that a PDF417 code is under the crosshairsa. Result: nothingb. Expected: scan the code.It works correctly when I print out a photocopy of the drivers’ license very large (e.g. when the pdf417 is about 6 inches long) – the scanner sometimes reads the blown-up PDF417 code. However I have not been able to scan a real driver’s license, even one time.====================No response to this mail.No answer at their hong kong or shenzen phone numbers.Disappointing.

returned it.. it did not worked on some barcodes

Light does not come on and will not pair correctly or hold a pair once paird to a device. This is not a good product at all and seems the seller doesn't care.
