Great carb
2002 FXST. Great buy, changed the jets, put it on the bike and away it went. Started right up. Took it for a ride and it ran great.

Lots of extras
I recommend this replacement if You're having problems with your stock CV Carb came with spark plugs extra fuel lines and a fuel filter If You don't ride regularly turn the petcock off and run the sorry ethanol out of your carb This solves a lot of problems ahead of time 👍✌️🙏 I finally got around to installing this carb on my 04 twin cam 88 Softail It cured all the issues I was having The 88 runs great The low idle screw under the bottom out 1 3/4 turns👍

Harbor Freight Carb: Needs mods to work
The Good: It works on '87 Sporty with 40mm CV Keihin carb after I franken-finagled it ( see below ). However, I had to make no adjustments to jets or idle screw or throttle cable. Not sure if I had some bad gas but it was back firing and blowing fire out the pipes at first and running like trash. But after about 5 minutes of that it was pushing me down the highway at 75mph.The Bad:1) Bolts to hold the carb to air filter do not fit. OEM bolts are too big. Broke a bolt off in carb trying to make it fit. Had to drill out and retap hole.2) The outlet hole of the carb does not fit into the manifold like the OEM Keihin. It seems too big. I should have mic'ed it out to see the difference but I didn't. Made no mods just tried to mash the manifold, rubber gasket and carb together for an air tight fit.Overall:Product would be much better if the proper bolts were sent for the carb and maybe a carb to manifold gasket that would ensure a better fit. Maybe put those in instead of the spark plugs and fuel filters that I didn't use.

Make sure to check jet size
Carb runs great, the spark plugs it came with didn’t work, but didn’t really matter to me. Came with jetting for a 1200 sportster installed so had to change jets to big twin( the jets were included)
