The media could not be loaded. I purchased 4 of these to use in my mobile DJ rig. Right off the bat, for the money these are very very hard to beat. Small, Lightweight, BRIGHT and vivid colors. Basic programing and some FILL IN THE BLANK common sense is needed to get these set up (programed) but once set up you don't really have to do anything except connect them in the right order.I recently use 4 of these for a local community event and had them running all day in nearly 90* full sun conditions. I turned them on to test the power drain on the outlets we were plugged into and forgot to turn them off. They worked great, just before dusk when the area started to dim a bit the projections and patterns were bright and visible. I had the 4 units mounted on modified tripod mounts about 10' in the air, just peaking over my speakers (see photos) When the sun faded out the projections were very bright and vivid. The people at the event loved it.after setting up the 4 units running on SOUND and MASTER SLAVE, the units have a nice sync'd effect. the beams cross and dance in sync. Very much like you would expect to see in a club or bar. Controls are your basic DMX style menus. You have PAN, TILT, SCENE control, as well as DMX, MASTER/SLAVE Select, Sound activation and 516 DMX channels to assign. The gobos and colors change quickly and smoothly. if you didnt know these were not ADJ's or MARTIN units you would never know the difference.The fans are not very noisy but you will hear the motors and fans if the room is quite. The units are responsive and pretty quick. Remember these are mini moving heads, they are not club units so the lighting quick movements are not going to be there but as you can see from my video, they are pretty darn quick. The user manual is printed SMALL and is a little confusing. just spend some time and use common sense when learning how to program these. It took me about 15 min of playing around with them to get them set up. Now i just mount them on my stands and plug them in.the only thing i would like to have seen on these is a way to activate "STROBE" and "BLACK OUT" with a remote or something other than a DMX controller. Sometimes there calls for STROBING beams or a quick BLACK OUT. without a DMX controller hooked up there is no way to do this and it's not always practical for a mobile DJ to bring a full DMX rig out.I would recommend these to any dj out there. they are great for all size venues. These would also be great for a bar or nightclub. If you have a larger venue use 4 if you have a smaller use 2. I will try and put up a video soon showing them in a actual venue with fog.Best bang for the DJ dollar. Get these asap! you will not be disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. First I would like to state that I did not purchase for professional use but for family party events. This will not be overly technical. I was searching for a party light a little more robust than your standard cheap-o spinning disco ball lamp. Right out of the box, this unit impressed me with its material construction and mechanics. Feels very powerful. The light is bright enough, and offers many color visuals in various shapes.I quickly jumped into learning about DMX controllers, as I was not familiar with them prior to this. Please note, you do NOT need a DMX Controller with this unit but will allow you to do so much more with this. Without the controller board or software, you still have options (albeit limited) built into the menu system.You can still set it to sync with a music (no cable needed), go through some preset shows built in, as well as other settings I am still playing around with (my only complaint is they need a more thorough instructional manual.)We have been having home dance parties for years now with lights, smoke machine, strobe you name it. We have stepped up our game with this light and plan on ordering another one to make a pair.

Good light for the money but as a lot of cheaper stuff it does have flaws. One of the two lights did not work when i received it. Amazon sent out a replacement right away. Got it in 2 days later and say thing, decided to open the front case of the unit and sure enough, the tilt limiter magnet had fallen off the belt gear. Put the magnet back and it powered up and work wonderful.

I own 8 of these 80 watt moving heads and they work great 80 watts would be lowest I go in brightness. They also work awesome as stand alone but once you put them on dmx controller you won't believe how awesome they are. Great buy

I've had this product for about a year now and probably used it at 2 dozen gigs so far. When I purchased these, everyone warned me about buying cheap lights because they probably wouldn't work correctly or break very soon. Well, I decided to buy 2 of them anyway and was very impressed by them initially, so I decided to buy 8 more in total. I still have not had a single problem with them to this day, and they work great in dmx mode as well as master/slave sound active mode. It has really brought my dj gigs to new heights. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for some beginner lights.

Don’t listen to others reviews about lack of instructions or whatever. Those folks don’t know dmx lighting and need to be walked thru everything. This moving head is the BOMB! Bright, very bright! Smooth pan and tilt and rotation, really fast movement. Best Buy in lighting I have ever made. Going to buy 8 more. Easy to control in 9 ch mode with a dmx192 controller! Build your scenes and let it do its thing! Simply amazing and I have not even gotten to the price. For less than $130 each! Great moving head at a great price! Arrived in 2 days, thanks to Amazon.
