My buddy loved it
When we were kids, my buddy would come over and we'd play this for hours. We hadn't seen each other for about 30+ years, and when we did reconnect he reminded me of a time that we played and he royally kicked my butt over and over again. Turns out, I was wearing a pair of those Aviator type sunglasses (with the mirror front), and he was reading my ship placement in the reflection. We laughed so hard! So, for Christmas this year I got him this, and of course, a pair of Aviator mirror front sunglasses.

Great gift choice!
I loved playing this game as a kid and bought it for my grandson’s 8th birthday. He is enjoying it too and we like playing it together. Sturdy and great value for the price.

A little TLC and now it works great. Much bigger and better than the 'newer' versions!
Found that the peg holes were not well drilled out, so they initially grabbed the pegs and the ships. With a little quick electric drilling, this problem was solved very quickly and now it is perfect working order. BUT, it was not from the get go, soooooo plan on a little time before all is perfecto.

Old school gaming fun
A near exact treatment of the original Battleship game from the old days. I seem to remember some cheap paper or cardboard with ocean waves printed on them and placed under the clear plastic peg boards on the old version of this game. You know, to simulate war gaming at sea. Not this version however. Even for a nickel's worth of paper and ink, times are tight and you have to cut those corners. No big deal though. Why this product rates a 4/5 with me is that there are pieces that get stuck, and I mean really stuck, on the board. The fix is quite simple, albeit quite time consuming when there are many pieces that need fixing. Other than that it's almost like playing on the old versions and still fun. Price is OK too. Recommended!

Great game.
Battleship! I missed this game from my childhood, ha!Beautifully made and quite simple to use and move around. The only downside is that the pegs are getting stuck on the board, my son could not remove them without my help and I was struggling too..

Fun times
This brings back memories of when our boys were little. They loved playing this, as did my husband and I. I bought this as a prize for a game that we will be playing at Christmas.
