Fit is good for my 9mo old yorkie puppy (xs). Smart id works. For some reason the scanner on my phone didn't work for me so I downloaded a QR scanner from the google play store and that worked. My only complaint if you can call it that is that I thought the smart tag would be yellow to match the harness as it shows in the pictures but the one I got was pink. But oh well, not a huge deal. I am satisfied with the product.I'm going to edit my review to say I am really loving the smart ID tag. I have scanned it a few times to see how well it works and am really happy that it works so well. Plus I get an immediate notification that the tag has been scanned and the location. Also the website is user friendly, lets you add a picture of your pet and a message to potential rescuers. I have purchased a few of the GPS tracker id tags that were all pretty much junk. This tag offers peace of mind in case my little runner gets away.

Safety:I bought this to this to attach to the car seatbelt that requires a full harness, my dog is a 50lb lean pitbull and it fits him perfectly! I love that it's padded so I know he more comfortable too!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:With slight adjustments, fits my pup perfectly and seems very comfortable. Love the digital id tag that comes with the halter.

Original Review:I purchased the XS harness for a 3lb 6 week old miniature dachshund puppy that I'll be bringing home next week. This harness is constructed very well and feels like it will be comfortable on him.The harness size is marked on the mesh that would be at the underside of the chest piece. It feels like a silicone sticker that would probably come off if you tried hard enough. To me, it feels like a "grabby" silicone that it might pull hair.At first, I was disappointed in the sizing because it was way bigger than it was advertised to be, even sized all the way down (or so I thought). I just hadn't adjusted it all the way down (my husband showed me what I was missing and then I felt like a moron for not realizing my mistake sooner.) It does cinch down to the size that it's supposed to, with some work. The straps can be tucked into the chest piece of the harness, but it took small fingers and a lot of maneuvering (good thing you only have to do it once!) to do that without it making the chest piece a little bulky and what I would assume, uncomfortable for the pup if he were to lay down.The buckles are plastic, but work well and don't feel like a cheap plastic at all. The rings that a leash can be attached to are both metal. The stitching on the whole thing is done beautifully.The dark teal color is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. I love this color and had plans to get a female puppy, but changed my mind on which puppy, so I'm getting a male. This color will not look too girly on him at all. It's the perfect gender neutral color for someone who loves dark teal.The QR code tag set up was very quick and easy, but it does require that you make an account to do so. It allows you to enter the dog's information (name, breed, weight, DOB, and a photo) as well as your own information (phone number (required), address (optional - I opted to only put my city, state, and zip code because I'm not comfortable giving a stranger my full address), and a message to anyone who scans the tag).The tag itself is made of a soft silicone that feels nice to the touch and shouldn't be a bother to a dog. Even if the dog has a really long or fluffy coat, this silicone doesn't feel like it would get caught in it at all (doesn't feel "grabby"). The ring that holds the tag on 'might' be metal, but I can't tell. If it's not metal, I would change that out for a metal keyring.Overall, I would highly recommend this harness for any of the sizes because it is made incredibly well for the cost and I have no doubt that it would also hold up to the large breeds that can fit it. Plus, it comes with the tag (the tag alone is around $10).Update #1:So I initially wrote this review prior to using the harness on my pup because when I set up the QR code tag, it offered a free item to leave a detailed review on Amazon and then confirm the order number with their website. Low and behold, the site timed out by the time I finished my review and I had to sign back in. Once signed in, there's nowhere to click to get back to that page, so no free gift. (*This review is 100% authentic though and was not coerced for the free item. I planned to leave a review anyway, but was going to wait until I had used the harness.*)Also, I had to scan the tag to be able to sign in and when I did, I received an email to let me know that the tag had been scanned... BUT it did NOT provide location details (photo of email provided)! It said, "We're sorry to inform you that We're unable to retrieve the exact location of [pup's name] because the person who scanned the code did not enable location permissions on his/her phone." My location IS on. I even tried it a second time and got the same response. The tag appears to be useless for tracking the dog's location, but can still be used to provide owner information to the person that scans it.Update #2:This harness is a bit big on my puppy, even though he's 4lbs 2oz now. He will grow into it, but for right now, he could get his arm into the head hole and get stuck because of how much room he has in there. great quality. great fit. makes walking my dog so much easier. she's a large dog(100 lbs) that likes to run wild and sniff everything when walking her. this gives me more control, and, i think it's better for her because she's not yanking her neck every which way. again, made very well..great quality.

Super comfy for my girl namaste - ordered the wrong size at first and had to return but once we got the right size it fits perfect and she seems to enjoy having it on! Love the QR feature as I’m in the middle of a move and can update my address on it once I’m fully moved!
