Worth it
The directions weren't super fantastic but adequate. It's quite sturdy. My cat isn't large but I can't see why a large cat couldn't enjoy it as well. My cat took about a week to start using it regularly. I put a small self-warming mat in the cubby and he loves that! You don't find a nice blue color in cat trees very often. Overall, I'm really satisfied, especially for the price. It lost a star because the carpeting is smooth, which may not be good for older cats who need a good grip of rough carpet. Also, a bolt shows opposite the perch on the cubby platform, which isn't my favorite thing. Still worth it.

For slender cats
It's too small for our fat cat - there needs to be a PLUS-SIZED "big and beautiful kitty" line to accommodate Bob Cat. Because of his size and weight, the base isn't secure enough for his liking. I repurposed it as an adventure house for my cockatoo, who thinks it's da bomb.
