Watch videos BEFORE operating!!
This is the greatest juicer I've ever used, but I will admit, you will do yourself a huge favor if you watch several videos of people making different types of juices with this, BEFORE you attempt to make your own.. I learned tips and tricks to make my life so much easier when making the juice and when cleaning up. I experimented alot, sometimes I helped myself significantly afterwards, because of that. It took me several months of playing around with it before I really got good at it and now I feel like a pro and it is an absolute snap! I have learned so many shortcuts, and be sure to use those pure juicer liners before you wrap them in the pressing cloths, or in the mesh bags! It's not necessary to always run your products through the grinder, like with oranges and grapefruit, you can just peel them and cut them and put them in the liner & pressing cloths in the cold press area. That saves a ton of 'cleaning'. I have read some of the reviews others have left here and I just had to shake my head at the ones that were complaining, it was obvious to me that they took that thing out of the box and just started trying to do it by themselves without reading the directions or watching any videos, because if they had, they too would have been giving this a five-star review. Some people are just lazy🤷♀️ I only complaint is that I wish I could buy the pure juicer liners on Amazon!! I highly recommend this product!

Not user Friendly
Difficult to clean, not user friendly. Not built to last. Experiences mechanical issues very quickly while being used gently. Slow in its mechanical ability and its durability is poor. Didn't care for it at all.

Best juicer ever!
I had been using a Norwalk since 2000, but left it behind on a move a few years ago. I recently bought the Pure Juicer as a replacement and have found it superior to the old Norwalk. The filter juicer produces a juice free of grit or pulp, but with all the nutrition. The leftover residue removed from the filter bag after juicing is reminiscent of sawdust that is only slightly damp. I prepare a green juice with a head of romaine, a crown of broccoli, a green bell pepper, and several stalks of celery. That makes around 48 ounces of green juice loaded with cancer-fighting nutrition. Makes a great breakfast!

Great juicer but has design issues
I would like to say excellent but I can’t. This juicer was bought for me because Gerson Therapy recommended it for my cancer treatment. Received in July and in August they had to replace the cutter. It was very hard to get the cutter on and off because of a defect. Then beginning of November the press tray snapped and they said was my fault so we bought a new one and payed express shipping to get it fast. We then figured out it broke not at my fault but because the press plate was faulty. They sent a new one regular mail and it is lost in the mail. Now the part we bought is going to have to be replaced again because they said it was ok to use it but it’s about to snap. We have borrowed a different juicer that juices and considering purchasing a cheaper juicer so we can continue juicing for healing purposes. Think about this if your juicing is for 10-13 daily juices for more than one person especially

works really great.
Yes works really great but you are in for a lot of work. Not a simple or speedy process to do your own juicing so be prepared to donate a lot of time to it if you commit. Having used it a lot now I would say if I had it to do over again I would not hesitate to buy used as long as the package was complete because it is so sturdy. If you drop it on your foot, they will have to amputate whatever is left of your foot. Th juicer would survive, too sturdy to break I think.

Pure vs. Norwalk 270
As Norwalk is out of business, this review is for those who own a Norwalk and Pure. Bottom line: Norwalk pays slightly more attention to the quality of juice. Pure pays a lot more attention to the quality of the machine. Biggest Issue: When making refrigerated carrot+apple juice and using the super hardened serrated edge cutter with recommended grid size of 8, the Pure machine produces warm to the touch juice. The Norwalk always produces cool to the touch juice. Using grid 10 (bigger holes) the Pure juice is just slightly cool to the touch. Recall the Norwalk lab test that showed much more minerals in the juice by pressing vs. a spin type juicer - is that still the case if the mash is bigger chunks? Uncertain if the smaller grid screen area of the Pure is the culprit, or the propeller shaped cutter of the Norwalk is better. I recommend you hang on to your Norwalk until Pure addresses this. Details: I bought my first Norwalk 270 in 1991, then replaced that in 2008. On both machines, the casing around the power switch buckled causing it to look dangerous. On the 2nd machine, I decided to try replacing the switch. Yikes, have you ever looked inside a Norwalk that's been used a long time? Dried, sticky juice in all the nooks and crannies of the base, plus black things growing. In 30 years, they never addressed the issue of minimizing spill juice from entering the inside. Two months ago, I bought a Pure machine with the hardened serrated cutter, so while both are fresh in my head, here are my gripes about the Pure machine, none show stoppers, just irritants: 1. Be careful if you move the grid tray - the rear slot that holds the tray does not penetrate through the feed tube as it does with the Norwalk, so material can get in there, and cleaning it out is a pain because it cannot be easily reached. 2. The dish that presses onto the top of the feed tube - Norwalk did a much better job with tolerances. Pure made slots in the dish - supposedly to make it more springy when pushing it onto the feed tube - but when grinding flax seed, they escape through the slots. The solution is to pound the dish harder onto the feed tube and banging on the bottom to get it off. 3. The pusher fits into the juice tube tightly - sometimes considerable force is required to pull it out as when mash fills the space between the pusher and tube forming a vacuum holding it down. The many benefits of the Pure machine are presented on their website.

Getting healthy is HARD work!
Great machine!! Heavy duty parts and should last a lifetime with care. It’s true you get a lot more juice with less produce with this machine. Only problem I have had so far was my fault. A couple times I dropped an Apple into the chute without it being covered. It is spinning so fast, it can throw pieces back at you.
